5 story changes that I LIKED

I've been pretty critical of changes made in SSO... But there are also good things!

As someone who has only played SSO, some of these things were surprising to me like Lisa did not have to sing in order to use her power in the past or Aideen was not originally in the story line.

This sounds really crap of me, but I liked how Elizabeth died. When we were doing the memory thingies remember just how much information we go about Elizabeth? In the newest quest she mentions how she will be watching over us and protect us. Idk but that just makes me feel happy.

though there is a certain mysterious nostalgic feel in SSL that i miss, SSO did really improve the main story and i like how they were able to expand it without changing it too much :)

Adding onto the dark rider thing, I agree. In the books they feel like actual friends being held against their will by something. For example Katja and Jessica are thinking about if they really wanna keep doing all this bad stuff when Sabine (it might have been Jessica I forgot 💔) snaps back at them and says something like “this is our life purpose” soooo🤔🤔🤔 also when updated dark riders sso it’s been 3 years

Did you notice in the latest quest that Sabine and Katja and Jessica don't actually like eachother and Sabine even says 'I can't stand the though of me helping Katja'. i also rlly liked how mr sands and our charcater worked together bc mr sands cares about justin more than garnok

Personally I don't like that Lisas ability changed. The way you put it sounds good, but on the other hand none of the other soulriders need to preform a specific action to use their powers. For example, Linda had to write or draw her visions in order to remember them, Anne has to do a dance for portals to Pandoria to open and Alex has to use a staff or similar to use her ability it would make sense for Lisa to need to sing. But now I just feel it seems strange that everyone else uses a hand gesture meanwhile Lisa has to sing... Another reason for why it doesn't make sense to me is that the ability comes from Aideen and her being a soulrider, it is the same ability that all the previous soulriders from the Star cirkle has had before her. Why would Lisa be the only one in the history of the soulriders be the only one who needs to sing? And if she isn't then is it a requirement for all Star cirkle riders to have musical talent? Or does it heal even if though it sounds like nails on a chaklboard? That said I DO like the story about Aideen, I love that there is a female goddess~

Well if I remember the lore correctly, Aideen brought life to Jorvik through song. So it would make sense that Lisa’s power comes through song. And I would therefore say that all soul riders of the Star Circle have been musically inclined, as their power mirrors Aideen’s power.

I agree with you on all of these! On a side note, I truly believe that Hidden Entertainment had big plans for Starshine Legacy, but they weren't executed the best, or in a lot of cases, completely fell through. Did you know they planned a historical spinoff, as well as novels? I attempted to ask Johan Egerkrans a few questions a year or so ago, and he said he'd answer shortly, but then kinda ghosted me. I get it, he's busy and probably doesn't want to talk about such an old project, but it would've been nice. I don't think ANYONE from the original SSL team is still working at SSO...

I love pandoria so so much. And I like it partly because it still feels like a dream. A place where time is warped and there are manta rays that fly, where everything is pink. I kind of picture it like quicksand, but not just the ground, the whole world, trapping you inside the more you panic. I've also always imagined it as very humid and warm instead of cold. Instead of a nightmare that you wake up in a cold sweat from, it's a cloying, shifting dream the reluctantly releases you in the morning, and then tries to get you to fall asleep and dream it again, because no matter how weird it was, it was absolutely beautiful.

i have a theory for why Lisa is playing country music and not rock anymore and why she has to sing for healing. Maybe she sings in order to use her power, because its more powerful that way, not because she needs to. And maybe rock was not the style of music that could do that. Maybe later on she was trying out new stuff and discovered that country made her powers stronger. I don't really know about the original games and i do not remember much of the details, so if this can not be true my apologies.

Harry Potter is actually my biggest fandom *clears throat* I'm a Slytherin and Thunderbird, wand is a hazel wood with phoenix feather, 11 3/4" with slightly springy flexibility, my patronous is a siberian cat, favorite spell is accio, favorite creature is niffler, quidditch position would be beater, and my favorite characters are Fred and George Weasley. I keep coming up with a bazillion fanfic ideas and am writing one right now about George Weasley's life after the war.

I grew up on the movies and read the books in my teens, and that's when my obsession started. When I first got sorted I actually laughed hard when I got Slytherin, cause it was so unexpected to get the "evil" house - but then as the days passed I started realizing how well I fit into the house, and my Slytherin pride started coming through. The comics are available on my channel. The Parthenope is a magical tune with healing abilities. Maurice Bergen's wife, Emily, fell into a coma after a "mysterious" sickness, and he believed that the tune could heal her. Both Kevin and Kyomi have been shown to achieve a tune with such abilities, and in one of these instances, Emily actually moves her hand. Maurice also talked about the previous headmaster, who believed in the healibg side of music. It makes it sound like these are connected, and that he, too, was interested in the Parthenope. We don't know a lot about the Parthenope outside of that, as the comics were never conpleted, but I think this sounds a lot like Lisa's healing powers.
