Especially when you consider when many of these were done for the amusement of rich Americans/ Brits. Mummy unwrapping parties were a big thing in that era. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it till the day I die, “curses” are the invention of people that do others wrong and they freak themselves out. These people that are raping other cultures for others amusement are in a hell of their own making.

A 7-foot dog seems astounding to me. Couldn't scientists extract DNA from those bones and create a profile? Maybe figure out what kind of dog it was etc. and how it would have looked. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to know. I mentioned this to my husband and he suggested maybe it was something called a Dire Wolf, that was supposedly a real thing back then.

I wonder.. if the black shuck...could be related to the black dog stories of long haul truckers? I don't know how many outside the industry know about it. I know since my dad was an O/0 for over 40 years, 2 of my brothers currently drive, 1.of my sister's and myself drove. Only my dad and brothers have seen it. To them it was the saving their lives. Dad was caught between 2 category 4-5 tornados My brother was overly tired, depressed and stressed (it was around Christmas and my former sister in law had severed him divorce papers after 25 yrs in front of dad) the dog showed him safely to get over at a rest stop. The rest stop didn't exist on any map. On his way back home he took the same route, it was nothing for miles around. Other times the dog will cause accidents.
@Greymalkin-
@Greymalkin- Жыл бұрын
My family and I saw what I'm sure was a black shuck when we were on holiday in Yorkshire when I was a kid, and I remember it so clearly. Just have to say that this is 100% true, I will happily swear that on my life, and people can laugh at it or not, I don't care. We were driving back to where we were staying late at night on the moors, when a black dog, quite a bit bigger than a border collie but a similar frame, darted across the road in front of the car. My dad swerved to dodge it, and because I was in the back seat with my nan, I looked behind us and saw the dog just standing in the middle of the road watching us leave, and then it calmly walked off into the brush/hedge alongside the road. I thought that it must have been a lost sheepdog or something, so I asked to turn around to look for it, because I can't emphasise how this was in the middle of nowhere. Huge areas are extremely desolate for anyone who's never been to the Yorkshire moors. Anyway, my mum and dad, who love dogs, and actually our GSD was in the car too, said: "No, that was a Shuck, we have to go," and everyone seemed so shaken afterwards, it was really weird. At some point my mum told me about shucks, and that was obviously just nightmare fuel for a kid. I hope that we were all ok because my dad clearly didn't want to hit it, but it was a really spooky experience anyway.

Every action, inaction, decision, and indecision gives shape to the future. For example if just one moment in the life of one of the very first humans was changed in the slightest, then it would alter the history and future of all humanity. It could be a slight alteration, or it could drastically change. the same goes for each of us today. 8 billion people, each one constantly making decisions that will effect the entire world until the end of time.

So Dieppe had a lot you are missing. It housed the German Naval Command, there was a Canadian Commando Unit that made it's way into the actual town, and Ian Fleming (yes the authour) was watching through binoculars from a ship which was not normal as his rank and position had him in cushy desk job, so important enough to have a Military Intelligence Officer of his station oversing this directly is important. Hope was to get an Enigma from the Naval Command, but they cleared out for safety when the initial alarm was raised when the fleet was spotted, which gave them plenty of time to secure the intelligence.

Curse? I do not think so. Everyone dies sooner or later but to say the cause was a curse is just not acceptable. Also people who could afford such expensive objects would be well along in life anyway. Any four men with the mind set to steal artifacts would lead a less than good life anyway, so their demise could be expected. All else is hearsay and imagination which becomes real if people believe it. All is nonsense.

5- I’ve read about there being a mummy being onboard Titanic but not what happened to it afterwards. Maybe the story is fake 4- I’ve heard the suggestion that rocks and stones record events, possibly only ones featuring high emotion. It’s then replayed repeatedly until it becomes only the sound of footsteps, for example, before fading away to nothingness 3- the ‘L’ in Suffolk is silent. Same for the ‘L’ in Norfolk
