The classic Breton stripe never dates. We need ways to work it in that aren’t tight and fitted. That said, I disagree that it look dated or unflattering. It was subtle bombshell! I’m a big fan of the rule of thirds - anything that divides you in the middle looks frumpy and dated.

@@Kate-lk6tw , i agree, i love a classic Breton stripe! I prefer them to be less clingy but will always have a couple in my wardrobe. I love that they can also be comfortably worn by all ages and still look great 😊

I think what you said about your 2 outfits was true about the second outfit looking more modern and the striped top and jeans looking a little dated, but I think the striped top outfit showed off your figure better.
