@StealthRetro Жыл бұрын
1- Don't detangle or comb ur hair when it's wet. Instead, do it when it's damp with product OR when you are in the shower(Detangle when conditioning not when using shampoo) 2- Washing with shampoo too often 3-Not moisturizing/properly conditioning your hair 4-Detangle properly and take ur time with it 5-Using styles that are too tight

I have tested countless things. The only things that actually worked in my case: A nutritious diet, decent sleeping timings, moving your body atleast for 25 mins, eating right, using good shampoo as well as oil. I use only liiitllextra cocoonian hydrating shampoo and hair oil for this purpose plus it does the job. My hair fall was controlled with it.
@Phalgunishah25A15 ай бұрын
This liitllextra coocconion hair oil has changed my haircare game. This product has a great ingredients. You can tell by the smell it contains key ingredients such as coconut, rosemary, onion, and fenugreek. What's really great about this product is that it has significantly reduced my hairfall and make my hair thicker than ever. This hair oil is a must have.

I appreciate you simplifying the process. All these videos have super in depth steps that you have to take, what to do what not to do, 3000 products that you must use etc etc...and while I can respect everyone's process for their journey, I'd much rather keep it plain, simply, and direct. People have been growing their hair way before all these extra techniques and products hit the market; don't need all that!

He's right about hair being weakest when wet but textured hair is still very vulnerable to breakage when detangled dry. Personally, I make sure my hair is damp and then I add a lot of conditioner as a friction buffer and detangle in the shower lol

This depends on the hair type. My hair is very strong and has been through a lot over the years and is still very long. I’m still gentle with it though, which means I DO detangle my hair when wet, especially when I immediately get out of the shower, or else it’ll dry up and tangle on itself and that’ll REALLY damage my hair much more than detangling when it’s wet. Let’s be realistic. As long as I’m gentle and patient it’s fine. Now, I refuse to detangle while IN the shower because my shower routine is long enough without adding unnecessary steps to it. And that’s too much manipulation anyway. Next point, I use both a comb AND brush when doing my hair. The comb makes it easier to detangle before I brush through the rest. I’ve never washed my hair every day, not even when I was younger. Conditioner doesn’t clean hair, that’s why it’s called “conditioner”. I have no choice but to take my time with my hair, my hair isn’t straight and smooth. It’s kinky, thick and long. I’m not a fan of ponytails and buns, I prefer twists or braids. Besides, I can’t even put my hair into a bun anymore, at least not in its natural state.

Wassup Kozact, I hope you’re good today, and I hope you see this. What’s a good routine for cornrows to maximize growth, now that I have them in? I have 4C hair, my scalp doesn’t really get dry like it used to since I implemented good hair care. Everyone keeps saying moisturizing, but what does that look like? I’m looking to make these last for at least a mont and a half.
@kozact Жыл бұрын
Id recommend only applying oil to ur scalp only during the duration of your braids.. if you want them to last as long as possible, the best thing to do is to try to touch them as little as possible, to moisturize them you would just apply oil to your scalp and work it into each of your braids gently since your scalp doesn’t really get very dry You can apply the oil less often so instead of every other day, you could try to apply it every three or four days, or, however, often you feel is necessary, And of course you would sleep with a durag secure to your head, allowing as little movement as possible , I usually keep my cornrows in for at least a month and during that time usually won’t wash my hair until I take them out. I find that washing your hair very easily shortens the life of your braids , And of course, whenever you get braids, you want to make sure the stylist is very neat and skilled Doing this, I find that my braids last a lot longer than it usually would with any other routine

@caribbeancam Жыл бұрын
stop dry picking, you're not supposed to ever bring a comb to your hair when it's dry, it literally breaks and tears out hair that was not ready to fall out. wet detangling is wayyyyyy safer than dry but your best bet is to apply leave-in while your hair is damp and comb it out with a detangling brush. also protective styles help; get some braids or something so your hair can grow while safely tucked away and not actually tangling and needing to be broken to comb through.

No. That’s dirty, Sir. Shampoo goes on your scalp. It cleans your scalp it to get rid of oil and build up, but strips your hair of moisture sometimes. That’s why you need conditioner.
