Covid numbers are skyrocketing! What can we do to protect yourself and those we love? Dr. Galvin discusses 5 supplements that may help prevent infection or moderate the severity of COVID-19 if you do develop it. All 5 have good science to back them up. These don't take the place of proper precautions but every bit helps. He covers Vitamin C, Zinc, Quercetin, Melatonin, and Vitamin D.
If you want a summary of his recommendations inquire via our website or email info@vitalitymwi.com

I was just diagnosed with Covid two days ago. I was taking vitamin c, vitamin d, zinc, turmeric, been leaf, triphala, magnesium, and valerian root. I had a severe headache and 101 temp that lasted less than 24 hrs and then all symptoms were gone. No respiratory problems at all. I’m a healthy 60 year old non smoking female

IMPORTANT: Vitamin D3 modulates cytokines but its mostly useless without magnesium Also take it with K2 as this is what takes the calcium out of the blood (which was put there by vitamin D3). Vitamin K2 makes sure calcium gets stored in our bones and not in the arteries

Doc, most of this video is pretty good. I'd ask that as you make these recs, you speak to dosing and the complications of overdose. Diarrhea from C, Cromium def from Zinc etc. Also, u could add the data from Famotidine and some others. Lastly, I humbly ask that you avoid the 'click bait' tagline of 'prevent'. No supplement bocks entry of the virus. I comment here because I'm spending soo much time addressing nuance- and these are the patients I happen to speak with. I am frequently concerned when videos from Physicians with limited qualifiers are put out. As always, thank you for reading and I welcome any discussion. Thx

I used NAC 600 mg twice a day while fighting COVID at home to thin the mucous and make it easier to cough up the sputum . One caveat is that some people get kidney stones so it is essential to drink plenty of fluids.. I used Melatonin at bed time because I had insomnia with the COVID. I also took 5,000 I.U. VitD3 every morning, and 2,000mg-4000 Vit C with Rose Hips, and 50 mg Zinc daily, I took immune boosting supplements as well : Echinacea 500 mg and BioCurmin Tumeric 400 mg every morning. I found that using these products and listening to God's words on healing brought me through a long term COVID infection at age 77 with heart and lung disease without hospitalization.

Yes, he did forget NAC which although doesn't prevent you to get infected, it reduces the severity of the disease and helps your liver recover from the battery of supplements and meds you are taking including Tylenol or acetaminophen overload. I usually would pass on melatonin though because it will make you drowsy. @CitizenOWorld at this point I have not had a fever on any inflammations in any part of my body that the cytokines storm could have started. I have been tested positive for such antibodies so I do not need Ivermectin. So far so good and yes I also will take the vaccines when they are made available to me as well. Stay well

@@tsotsoosteph9464 Agree 100 percent. And yet there has been little research in diets and supplements to allow our body time to build up antibodies against the virus without experiencing the terrible and potentially killing of the cytokines storm as it rages inside our body trying to fight COVID19. I have the antibodies and at 73 I beat the cytokines storm. Will it continue for life? Only time will tell. Vit D is super important but if you take high levels of supplements, you must take Vitamin K2 MK7 to avoid calcium build up in arteries and ensure the Vitamin D goes into bones and cells.

I take all of these but it won't get me the "Health Passport" that is being talked about. In order to get the passport I need to get a Covid vaccination. I'll stay as I am and hope that if I get it I'll be able to neutralise it on my own.

Content creators like yourself need to start uploading a copy of your videos to peer to peer platform as an alternate mode of content distribution with a software program like BiglyBT Software (BiglyBT.com) which supports open decentralized protocols like webtorrent.io … Then you post the video’s shared magnet link and Hash in the notes or comments section of social networking video channels such as this one Eg like YT. It only makes sense.

most doctors are too overworked to give out information on vitamins, herbs, diet, etc. etc. Also note they cannot make a living without pharmacudicals being prescribed and mandatory testing being done as insurance company

I eat plenty of vitamin C from kiwi, broccoli, leafy greens, bell peppers, and berries. The pill is just ascorbic acid (made from corn starch and sulfuric acid) but the vitamin C complex is what we need. Plus, eating it probably increases the bioavailability. I DO take vitamin D as everyone should (not just folks in the northern states), 25mg of zinc, quercetin, mushroom blend (lion’s mane, reishi, cordyseps, etc.), oil of oregano, propylis, and osha. Getting 8 hours of sleep isn’t hard for me so no melatonin.

@@bridgetkavanagh3173 ask your doctor. Supplements aren't regulated like medication or food so if there's no third party testing, you could be taking anything. Wikipedia is a good 1st place to check for toxicity or possible side effects (i.e. elderberry, echinacea, and goldenseal aren't known to help anything but are known to have negative side effects). Furthermore, there's very few studies about how certain compounds interact with each other once inside your body. For a healthy immune system, I take 3,000-5,000 IU of vitamin D daily, 22mg of zinc daily, 800mg of quercetin daily, 7-8 hours of sleep and 1.5-2 hours of exercise.

100%. Ascorbic acid is NOT the same as natural Vit C. Check your nutrient labels ...ascorbic acid is only a part of vit C and is made by the pharmaceutical companies as a cheap substitute that is not absorbed by the body!
