in order for it to float it would have to be 2 to 3 times bigger as it would need a few layers of foam or some sort of material that would allow it to float it has a battery in it meaning its too heavy to float on its own

Waterproof means water can sprinkle on it water resistant means you can submerge it under water and it will still work they usually give you how deep you can submerge it when it's water resistant
