Completely disagree with your take on The Killer Robot Instability, for pretty much the exact reasons you said in the video. Howard was a total creep up to that point, and Penny was completely justified in calling him out. What the guys were saying is that Howard may not have realized that his behavior was creepy, and that is why he took it so hard. And Penny punching him in the face was also completely justified, and drove the point home in a way that Howard fully understood and appreciated. And here’s the thing: it worked. Howard got noticeably less creepy over the next couple of seasons, to the point where Penny introduces him to Bernadette. By season six, he is almost unrecognizable from where he began. Howard learned a lesson that a lot of men unfortunately have to learn in life. This episode is a fantastic portrayal of learning that lesson.

My opinion on each episode on this list (excluding honourable mentions) The scavenger vortex: one of the best episodes because of the different friendship dynamics and how Bernadette and penny came back at Raj with after realising the truth The Thespian catalyst: I enjoyed the story of Penny and Sheldon doing an acting class together and Raj’s Bollywood musical number was pretty funny minus the creepy factor The adhesive duck deficiency: two plots that need not be intertwined at the last minute and they both stay apart from each other The planetarium collision: haven’t watched it that much honestly The Stockholm syndrome: a perfect finale The killer robot instability: go penny for standing up for self and punching Howard when he tried to kiss her also we met Barry Kripke for the first time The staircase implementation: an epic origin story The matrimonial momentum: two Big Bang relationships fell apart The bath item gift hypothesis: Leonard Nimoy napkin The cognition regeneration: haven’t watched much of it either

I’m glad to see Killer Robot Instability on this list, because let’s be real here, have y’all ever been called the bad guy for doing something wrong to a person even though it was justified? Like Howard had been a creep for 2 whole seasons before that episode, and they think Penny was supposed to be apologizing for standing up for herself.

As someone who has rewatched TBBT too many times to count, The Speckerman Recurrence is the episode I skip every time. Spot on with the Saturnalia Miracle EP being number one. Just fantastic. Want to forget: The laugh track
@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl6 күн бұрын
I thought the Thespian Catalyst was a good episode. You only talked about the B Plot. Well, that's just a B Plot. Not a particularly interesting one, but you're not supposed to focus so much on it. The main plot in that one is Penny giving Sheldon acting lessons, only for Sheldon to turn out to be a better actor than she is. That was a good storyline. Besides, I consider the music video at the end to be a pretty cool bonus. It was unexpected and catchy. I don't really like The Planetarium Collision but to be fair, Amy should have directed a lot of her anger at President Seibert. He was the one who actually removed her from her projects. He should have told Sheldon that Amy needed to send this request in herself. Sheldon's heart was in the right place; he thought Amy wanted to be removed from those projects. President Seibert should have told him that Amy needed to request this herself. President Seibert wasn't a very good president. 7:15 No it doesn't. It feels like the robot is the main plot and the Howard-Penny plot is the B plot. What are you talking about? Yeah, The Matrimonial Momentum isn't that great. But to be fair, everything not involving Sheldon has been a footnote to Sheldon ever since day 1. So what if they did an episode the focuses on a table? The Holiday Summation was probably the worst Christmas episode, but the Sheldon-Amy-Mary scenes were good. For the Cognition episode, you left out the entire Sheldon storyline, where he tries a bunch of new tasks to keep his brain sharp and prevent it from declining due to age. That whole storyline was pretty cool. We learned about all the things Sheldon is great at that we didn't know he was great at in the previous 10 years, and it was cool seeing him try juggling after all the times he said magic was dumb. As for Zack, I liked him, and the final few seasons didn't change my mind. As for Penny not getting the job, it wasn't because of Leonard. She told Zack that she accepted the job, but he rescinded the job offer because his wife got angry when she found out he was going to hire his ex.

The episodes you said were timeless were indeed almost all timeless. The ones I want to forget: -The Bat Jar Conjecture. I wanted Sheldon to win the physics bowl. At least he lost fair and square and he brought it upon himself, but I wanted him to win. -The Panty Pinata Polarization. Penny acts like a jerk in Sheldon's home, and she wins in the end? While Howard and Raj successfully find the top model house and they don't even go to jail? Who thought this would be a good idea? -The Wheaton Recurrence. I did not like the evil Wil Wheaton of the early seasons -The Prestidigation Approximation. Howard uses a magic trick that isn't even real magic and most people just go along with it? While Priya makes Leonard give up his glasses? I'd say no to both of these storylines -The Hawking Excitation. Howard is a complete bully. The episode has its redeeming moments: it's the one time we get a scene with just Hoard's mom and Sheldon. And it's the first time we see Stephen Hawking. But he ended up appearing in several later episodes so we no longer needed this one. The bright side is that Sheldon won out in the end over the long haul. Howard stopped working with Stephen Hawking and didn't stay in contact with him. Sheldon stayed in touch with him and there are several episodes where he is the one that helps Sheldon solve his problem. -The Habitation Configuration. Amy is a jerk to Wil Wheaton and she just expects Sheldon to take her side. -The Raiders Minimization. Amy is wrong again but never knows and Penny buys a book by Leonard's mom and intentionally uses it to make him feel bad. -The Focus Attenuation. The girls go to Las Vegas where Amy and Bernadette treat Penny the way that bullies used to treat them, while the guys stay home and try to come up with new science idea. The girls' storyline is horrible... Amy and Bernadette are the last people who should be bullying someone for studying and not partying since that's what they used to do. It's also a plot hole. It reveals that they FLEW to Las Vegas, when a previous episode revealed that the last time they attempted that, Amy was put on the No-Fly list. The storyline with the guys isn't infuriating, but it's uninteresting and doesn't go anywhere. -The Skywalker Incursion. Sheldon and Leonard do something irresponsible and they're proud of it, while Bernadette does something truly evil and she's proud of it. -The Military Miniaturization. Penny tells everyone at work about Bernadette's pregnancy for no apparent reason. Then tells Bernadette a horrifying story from her teenage years. -The Veracity Elasticity. Penny secretly moves Leonard's stuff into storage. -The Romance Recalibration. Penny, who never put much effort in the relationship, has the nerve to complain about the effort that Leonard is putting in. -The Retraction Reaction. Leonard must lie to his bosses or get fired. Bernadette reveals that she only cares about money, not about advancing science or about the harm that her company is doing or about a;; her workplace accidents. -The Bitcoin episode. A revenge tale that was less satisfying than the itchy sweater. -The Separation Triangulation. Raj dates a woman who's married, but she doesn't tell him that until after she sleeps with him. Sheldon rents a room from Leonard and Penny. and Leonard complains because Sheldon is.... quiet? -The Athaneum Allocation. Kripke is a jerk -The Gates Excitation. The entire episode contradicts the story that the other 3 guys previously told to Priya about Bill Gates punching Sheldon. It's probable that the story was a lie, but the episode never comes out and says that, leading to a very confusing episode. -The Tenant Disassociation. Sheldon was forced to give up being the president of the tenants' association because he was punishing Leonard and Penny for being jerks and they want to be jerks without being punished. -The Sibling Realignment. Georgie is revealed to be a bully, yet Sheldon had to apologize, while everyone in California got pinkeye except Penny. -The Procreation Calculation. Penny gets bullied because she doesn't want kids. Why should she get bullied over her own life? -The Paintball Scattering. It's all just 5 different couples fights. -The Propagation Proposition. Penny objects to something that's just Leonard's decision. It takes her way too long to realize that he didn't have a say in her not wanting kids so she doesn't have a say in him donating sperm. Raj tries to win Anu back with index cards. a reference to some movie that she hasn't seen. -The Confirmation Polarization. We get introduced to the 2 worst characters ever: Pemberton and Campbell. Meanwhile, Bernadette badgers Penny into doing something she doesn't want to do. -The Donation Oscillation. After Penny had previously told Leonard that she was okay with this, she spent this whole episode sabotaging him doing it. Meanwhile, Bernadette makes herself miserable in a futile attempt to prove something to Howard. -The D and D Vortex. Wil Wheaton complains about the guys using him and his friends, yet is okay with married women using him and his friends? The women seem to forget they are married. And the worst episodes of them all: The Laureate Accumulation and the Inspiration Derivation. Pemberton and Campbell become popular. Sheldon and Amy are villainized for not being okay with their work being stolen

@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl the D&D episode did prove once again that Penny is a slut (and even deep down so is Bernadette) episode once again reinforced the idea that both of them settled with seemingly pathetic men as husbands. The main problem with Chuck Lorre he seems to think it’s funny to make men pathetic and then give them hot bitchy girlfriends. Leonard, Harper, and Penny essentially became Lyndsey.

7:09 I can agree with all that, but I feel like penny had no room to judge and no room to say some of those things to Howard. Yes Howard should treat people naming women with a little respect, but given that he's had a rough childhood and teen years. Not to mention his father straight up abandoned him and his mom, also to add that he's Jewish. people forget that it works both ways, like penny in this episode. If I was talking to her I would say "you have no room to talk little miss I'm going to star in Hollywood movie. You work at a restaurant which your terrible at. sleep with random guys, drink 🍸 like crazy and hope to become a movie star, you'll never be star, you'll never make it in Hollywood, your terrible actress, and you'll be at the cheesecake factory for the rest of your life." I know that's harsh but here's the thing if women like penny want to be treated with respect you have to give it back. Remember it works both ways, not to mention you can't judge someone like him when you have your own track record.

The Stockholm Syndrome episode was the poorest attempt by the writers in trying to show Sheldon has changed but actually never did throughout the series. Amy never set him straight. Not when Sheldon screwed with the Bitcoin venture, not when he went behind Howard and Leonard's back about the guidance system they all invented, and not even when Amy made Sheldon apologize about Penny's unborn child. Could have easily said "can't wait to meet your child" but instead said "it" because being made to apologize means he was wrong and Sheldon never admits he's wrong.

Any episode from seasons 9-12 are GARBAGE, and shouldn’t have been made. The show should’ve ended after seven or eight seasons. PS: 9:24 The season eight finale was the WORST season finale of the entire series. There was no point in writing Leonard’s terrible revelation to Penny. Why would he make out with another woman even while drunk (which is ALSO OCC for Leonard).
