Another great detail relating to the two Jokers is how they address Batman. As convincing as Clayface was, he didn't nail their dynamic. While the real Joker always calls Batman "Bats", Clayface kept calling him "Batman".

Something that really sold me instantly on the series was getting the characters so right, like all the characters don't do much of anything that you'd be like "they'd never do that" I felt like Batman and his rogues acted exactly right

What i like about Arkhan City is the story and characters. Side missions were good. I also liked how you spot Hush and Azrael at the beginning of the story before meeting them later on

I know Floyd is in front of you in the processing centre, and Tommy is in the church when you get there for the first time, but unless I'm missing something the only times you can see Michael are when you are supposed to for his side mission

It’s actually my least favorite in the series, but I think that’s cause I rushed through it to get to knight and use the bat tank. Also I didn’t understand why you were put in the prison until half way through so I couldn’t get immersed. After seeing this vid now o rlly want to go back and replay

My personal favorite thing is all the audio tapes from the character bios. In the tapes, each villain/antihero is being interviewed by Hugo strange, and the dialogue is so good, it fits into the story completely, it shows how strange controlled literally everything (or ras äl ghul), for example, he tell cat woman where to get her stuff back from two face, he tells two face about cat woman, and he tells penguin about the undercover cops, and the joker interview is my favorite. When talking to joker, strange gives him doctors in exchange for a piece of his past. The story joker then tells him is the exact story of “The Killing Joke”. Absolutely remarkably fantastic

For YEARS I never knew Arkham City had a grapple boost until my friend played for the first time when Epic made the games free. I always skipped the AR challenges and when my friend mentioned the grappel upgrade I was like "huh? what are you talking about?" I skipped over that upgrade for YEARS. I thought Origins was the first appearance because they just gave it to the player.

I think Catwoman’s inclusión on the main story was great. They didn’t just made her part of it as a cinematic character (like Robin), but a playable character. I like to play as her because she always feels refreshing. Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl are just way too similar to Batman. Of course, they have unique fighting styles and gadgets, but they’ve got the same ways of dealing with things as Batman does. Catwoman has her own ways and that’s too great to ignore.

One of the biggest things for me was how differently Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman played compared to Batman. For example, combat with Batman can be finished quickly by getting as many thugs on the ground as possible then using a combo move. Robin, rather, used the snapflash to knock down a bunch of enemies and rack up points from ground pounds. Not having the smoke pellet as Nightwing or Catwoman makes escaping from enemies much harder than if you were Batman or Robin. And, although I wasn’t a fan, Catwoman’s movement is so incredibly different from the other three. But just the fact that they gave each individual character different gadgets is something that they just didn’t need to do. I know it was done in Knight but I feel that city just laid the ground work for it incredibly.

Something that I never see anyone talking about, is Gotham City in the background. I just absolutely love the gothic architecture of the buildings and how they literally scrape the sky with their massive scale, and on top of that the yellow-brownish color of the sky mixed with the lightning and with the spotlights creasing the sky just makes Gotham feel alive. Like if the city itself was its own character.

My personal favorite of the series as well. A natural and organic expansion upon Asylum that doesn’t implode from the weight of its own ambitions like Origins or Knight. I remember pre-ordering it for my Xbox 360 and playing it all night long and beating the storyline, and the morning after I finished it I stared at the TV screen while Joker sang “Only You” in the credits and I legitimately cried like a baby as it set in that Joker was dead. My favorite in the series, for sure, and probably my favorite game of all time.

One of Reason why for me Arkham City is the Best Arkham Part is, because the Story has two mean Protagonist and how the Story of Batman and Catwoman fits together just perfectly!!! The Arkham City Version of Catwoman is also very close to the Comics and is my personal Favourite ( Extremly Sexy and hot )!!! My personal 5 best Things what Batman: Arkham City did right: 1. The Story 2. The Posibility to play an second Charackter in the Story and the Charackter Catwoman itself 3. The Sidequest 4. The Feeling to be inside the Arkham City Prison 5. The diffrent Organisations who are in Arkham City who fight are a Gang War against echaover and there Henchman who talk about there Bosses and Events that happend shortly.

Something that I don't like about the Arkham series in general as stealth games, is that the bosses of thugs alert them that you have killed a thug. It makes it so that you cannot go into a stealth situatuion plan out how you are gonna go through it and then execute the plan. That way your success no longer entirely depends on your ability to make a good plan, and to be able to execute it, but it depends a lot on luck. I know that this is very much intentional, and it is not a deal breaker for me in any way, I like it, but I just like the plan and exectute style of stealth more.

While its open world wasnt the biggest, Arkham City is the most well designed out of three free roam games. Every section feels maticulously designed, there's Easter eggs everywhere, and every area feels well done and manages to be different. The fact that this open world rivals the Asylum is breathtaking.

Damn it I love these games. City is definitely my favorite, only beating out Knight because of the story and my nostalgic connection. And, one thing you definitely could have mentioned: The Bosses. Honestly, all of City's bosses range from okay at worst to amazing at best, and I don't think you could say that about any other game. So glad I found your channel, mate, I love seeing my favorite series actually getting attention. Especially since none of my friends have played the games, so I have nobody to talk to.

That's true the character models for everyone are pretty good, especially the girls. I think they looked better in the original mostly and I had to record Return to Arkham for this footage but they still all look good. It's impressive. I think the same about Knight especially as far as beautiful looking people and characters in the game.

One of things I absolutely despise in the remaster is that they didn't even bother about Arkham Island. No vines, any building lights and the entire west section of the island is missing. Just wish they gave where it all began some love, dunno how they screwed it up so bad. Apart from that though, it's one of the best Arkham games.

Asylum we needed in one game and they gave it us in Knight in a good way but bringing it back again would be repetitive. If they bring back blackgate it would be boring. But a way I feel they can do a good way to bring one of those spots back is if u can bring the criminals u capture their and put them in their own cells. Just like the GCPD in Knight
