@@LeoandLeona really? For me if the krill hit the stone, I didn't take any damage or else the krill goes search mode (blue light), then I step on it's sight, it will turns lock mode (red light). During this lock mode you have to hide as quickly as possible behind the stone I've mentioned. Then repeat the steps over and over again until the krill is like, "Okay I'm done with you, now get lost." and starts to ignore the player for merely 5 second, then switch back to search mode. Also, sorry if you lost some wl during the failed process 🥲

Did you know that years ago honking flipped the crabs, and then a second honk would flip them back on to their legs? In areas with large amounts of crabs you could never have all of them flipped on their backs. Just one of the many ways that sky has gotten softer over the years, along with the elimination of “bonk” damage.

The shadow thing is mainly a resource conserving issue. If you look carefully, even the sky kid's shadow looks strange and more like the shadow of the michelin tire's mascot because it is not rendered based on the actual sky kid model to save computing power.

It’s a mobile device accommodation. They cannot make shadows for capes, as it would be too much detail for some mobile device to handle. Hope this helped! 😊 ~Leona

Me: ooh I wonder what they'll show? I'm sure I'll know them all - WHAT?! Like I knew the rest but that first one was a blow to my veteran ego XD. That's such a cool detail! I guess it's not surprising I never noticed but wow! That validates my theory of heart flame and joining hearts lol. Did you know there's a glowing green bond connecting you and your friends when you hold hands? Just like the purple bond when you ride mantas! It's hard to see, but if you manage to be dragged away without breaking at the right angle, you can spot it! I suppose that's how skids get away with all those emotes and piggy backs without falling lol.

The cape thing... not seeing their shadow does not mean they're made out of light, there quite a lot of dark capes, but beyond that, it's a graphical limitation. As a mobile game, Sky has some limits to work with, TGC has not put fully rendered light and shadows in the game, like the ones you see in 3d games in ps3, xbox 360, and onwards. Instead, they use baked lighting and a few 3d tricks to make you think there are shadows, like you see in ps2 and wii games. This is made clear when you reach a point that doesn't get sunlight, in the game, and you can still see the shadow there. Since the capes change a lot, they only made the shadow projection for the skykids bodies (you can see their heads look weirdly spherical, as well as their hands, because it is not an actual shadow accurate to the 3d model of the skykid). This is all done so that the game can have a greater amount of graphical effects, like the particles, screen space reflections, cubemaps, translucent cape effects, cloud effects, anti-aliasing, motion blur, bloom and many others that are very demanding from a phone's GPU, not to mention the worlds in sky are huge and somewhat detailed.

In reality, it's not just the Capes that are made of light, the items on their backs too, and I think this is an excuse for not adding a more realistic shadow to the game, as TGC would have to do Various animations for shadows, and the game has hand-crafted lighting, so much so that creatures of Light and Darkness do not have a shadow, but rather a circle of shadow.

I’ve also heard that they didn’t add proper shadows because it’s a mobile game. If they added high detail shadows, our devices wouldn’t be able to handle it. And not as many people would get to play the wonderful game that is sky. ~Leona

Another thing about your candle, normal candles you find will have a round lens flare, while yours or a friendship candle will have a lens flare in the shape of a heart. I think this is a neat touch considering your candle comes from your core/where your heart is, meaning that our candles are our lifeforce. The whole concept with your wings being a part of your health/life is very interesting to me ^^

Did you know chairs and other props that give you the option to sit or stand can be placed almost anywhere and still be accessible? Even upside-down. If you are high enough you can quickly place a prop in the air and use it there too. I have the tea stand and sometimes put it on ceilings, walls, or even just up in the air and then interact with the stand to stay floating with it.

From my point of view, and since this game is very spiritual, when our "dolls" use the candle, they show, they bring out, their Souls (which is what the circle of light on their chest symbolizes). That's why they can only see other players' "dolls" when they connect their Souls to theirs. Regarding the call, I suppose it's capable of delivering vitality to the Souls of the other "dolls" because it comes from the Soul. It's like a battery capable of recharging other batteries. That's how I see it 💝

I knew about the crabs, the eyes and the skin, I discovered that last one just 2 days ago tho (I was so shocked 😂 I was like "omg I'm so blind") The candle is such a nice detail, i love it! And the shadows... Welp, with the quality I have on my phone there's no shadow at all 😅 but now I can see it on some pictures, it's so cool too!

The first one, So sky kids are now confirmed to be demigods. I also think of that as, every time they take out their candle they're removing a part of them, and the more they take apart the less light they're made of. Which is why heights exist, taller Sky kids are newer ones that haven't used a lot of their light ( Around 10-12 years old I suppose). Standard is 13-15 and have used some but not a lot, and Chibi's are about 16-18. AFTER 18 THEY DIE because it takes the sun 8 minutes to have light travel from there to earth. Children of the light are actually Golems fun fact!

If you look at the broken down ship murals in golden wasteland it tells you everything!

The sky kids are like stars that came down and needed a body, so the ancestor spirits made a body for them and tested it out in trails. So all the little bodies on the ceiling mural isn’t dead sky kids but just dialed bodies. So the ancestor spirit would go inside the “golem” and try and try again. Which is why we cannot fly because our ancestor spirits never could fly (In the first area go under the bridge or steps and light the spirit. It will tell you about it)
