Ilovesimsfreeplay16 church 😂😂😂 I'm getting married soon and it took me a lot of really terrible guys and terrible choices till I knew I found the one and you really do know when you know, and it happened right when I thought I lost all faith in men and lost my Christian relationship in a way (I believed but I was not acting on good morals and I was depressed) and being with him has really brought out everything amazing in life and in myself and I find myself always wantingto do good things for him and vice versa And find my relationship with my church is better even though we both struggled. Seek out high standards and good influences and naturally they'll find you when God knows the time

I'm 21, and I'm getting married in December. For me, it isn't the strangers that are judgemental it is my family. My family members and church members are the hardest one me. My church members were talking in church today about how me and my fiance would get a divorce and that we wouldn't work out. I've cried so much the past 6 months about the mean things people say to me and about me. Prayers please. 😔

My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years and got married at 19 and 20. (No, we don't have kids) We had been together since we were 15 and also knew right away that we wanted to get married and were very serious. We also waited for marriage. Our family and friends were always so supportive but yes, strangers have been sometimes VERY judgemental to find out we are married. The doubters tell you "Oh the first year is going to be the worst. It's so hard. You're going to have times that you regret getting married and don't know who the person next to you is." Then after you get through an incredible first year they say "oh just wait, you're still in the honeymoon phase." Point being- the doubters will always be doubters. But being married to my best friend for 2 years has been the best experience of my life, aside from coming to Christ as my Saviour. Living life with him is the best. Be selfless. Compare the way you should love to the way Christ loves. Communicate. Extend grace, because we all need it. And be joyful. Those are my tips. Don't let people drag you down in the "Marriage is so hard" business. Love Jesus. Love your spouse and freaking love marriage! Because it's great!

I love the whole "you can't go out or party" argument. Like yes, if I want to i totally can. It's literally so fun going out with my husband & stumbling home together & taking care of each other. We might not go out as much as our single friends but every once in awhile it's a good time! Also, he's not my keeper or boss so if I wanted to go out, i could. As long as I'm not doing anything disrespectful, what's the big deal? Go out with ya girlfriends! We got married at 19 & 20 and it was the best decision ever. Its crazy how many young ppl think marriage is like slavery or something.. marriage is a bond. You do things for the other party out of love and respect. I'm not married yet. But I love encouraging all of my friends to marry the love of their life early so they can grow with each other together..

It's about finding someone who you can be young with for the rest of your life!
@SarahS329
@SarahS329 7 жыл бұрын
As a kid, I could not imagine someone marrying young. I thought it was a terrible idea. Now that I'm older (still a kid though😂) I realize that often the people who marry young stay together longer (at least the ones I've noticed). They have stronger relationships and seem happier. Youth is not what makes or breaks your relationship, letting go of that close bond does. I hear about that bond a lot and I believe it to be God-designed. Just keep swimming, one day you'll both be in your 70s, your 50th anniversary will swing around, and people will point it out and say "that's love."

A Bit of Bee, my husband and I dated for 6+ years and of those 6 years, we did long distance for 4.5. The biggest thing I would say that got me through was realizing the little fights and arguments aren't worth getting upset over. Also, if you truly believe your relationship is "meant to be" and it's God's purpose for your life, you'll realize it's so important to not be upset for long and that everything you happens for a reason. I know it sounds simple, but that really helped me. Many people break up for silly reasons and they don't stick through the tough times. Good luck! It'll be worth it in the end!

A Bit of Bee hi, me too :) we are now getting married in November yay, but for a year we had to get a flight to see each other, for another year it was a couple hours on a train, even now we're still an hour away in a car. So it's been six years of travelling around lots. I would say, particularly in the first few months of long distance, try to be relaxed. Be intentional about your communication but also CHILL, because as soon as you start picking fights with each other it just gets silly. Most of the time you just miss each other. It's easy for doubt to creep in if you're not careful, you do have to fight for each other :) but it's good to have a balance between fighting for each other, and also just relaxing and taking it one day at a time :)

My boyfriend and I have been doing long distance for our entire relationship. He lives 2 and a half hours away so we see each other 3-4 times a month but it's still hard. We just trust in the Lord and know what He is doing is right for us. We have one more year of long distance until he graduates college but I know it will be worth it ❤️ Communication is key!!! Schedule once a week to have a FaceTime date to talk about your week. For my relationship, we try not to text all day because then when we FaceTime there's not much to talk about because we basically told each other our day through text.

I deeply enjoyed watching this! I got married when I was 21, too. A few weeks before my wedding, I had a woman tell me she thought I was too young to be getting married. I feel you, girl. You just have to remind yourself that your marriage is God-breathed and God-given. Also, I TOTALLY understand what you are saying about the spiritual bond! You are spot on! It truly is hard to explain or understand unless you've experienced it! I think it has something to do with the notion that marriage is God's greatest example of Christ and His church. Praise God for His goodness and wonderful gift of marriage! 💙

I got married when I was 20. My husband is the only guy I've ever dated and that started when I was 16 and he was 19. I had a ton of people judging me saying I was jumping into marriage too fast. Or I can't just marry the only person I've had all my first with. "It'll never last" I was told a few times. We have now been married for 11 years with 3 daughters and still going strong! Let people judge all they want. ❤️

I married my best friend when I was 20 years old. 16 years later, I have zero regrets and am more in love with him than I ever imagined. It is so cool to watch your love grow as you add children and go through life together. Even though I don't look super young anymore, people just can't believe I'm old enough to be married so long or have so many children (7 pregnancies, 6 births, 5 live children ). It's fun to see people's faces in shock. Lol. Anyways, tim and I were also abstinent until our wedding night, and I think that is a big reason we are so extra close. We are each other's one and only! Also, we pray together every night and every morning, and a lot in between. We try very hard not to go to bed angry, and we never say the D word, as it is never an option for us. Take it totally off the table. Be patient with each other, pray for each other, and learn/live each other's love languages. Never talk bad about your spouse to anyone, ever. No matter how upset you are about something. Keep God at the center of your marriage. A cord of 3 strands is not easily broken. Read your Bibles together, and respect each other. And respect Marcus as the head of your family. I love being married. My husband is such a phenomenal man. I'm so blessed! I enjoy watching your channel and watching love and your little family grow. God bless you!

Hi Kristin! My husband and I got married at 20 years old and I'm 25 now. I can totally relate to all of your list! Especially the part about people being judgmental of how young I was when I got married! And 5 years later, I still get questioned about it by strangers. I've never understood that. I would never question a stranger's marriage straight to their face ( or even behind their back lol). People can be quite interesting sometimes. 😜

strangers did that to me and my husband too. They have been very judgmental. We got married at 22 and 23. and we heard that from so many people. But when the Lord is blessing your marriage and he's the center..... then marriage is AMAZING> no matter what age

I just got engaged about a week ago!!!! I'm 19 and my Fiancé is 20. I've liked him since we were in the fourth grade but we didn't start to date until my senior year in highschool. We have been together for 3 years. Since I was a child I have asked God to send me my husband and my prayer is answered ❤ Believe me we get that "your too young to be in love" but I just get to love him longer ❤

Hi Kristin, not trying to be mean, but don't you think that most of those things come from newly living together and not actually being married? I've moved in with my fiancé a couple of months ago and I can agree with you on almost all of these things! I'm excited to see what actually happens when we get married and how it changes things !

Hi Kristin! I am also 22 (or will be, in september) and I'm dating my 23 year old boyfriend for almost two years. We are absolutly sure we want to marry eachother soon, specialy because we want to have kids before 30. Thank you so much for this vídeo and for sharing your jorney as a young married couple. Even though I know I want to marry him soon (like in a year or two, we are now trying to find jobs so we can save some Money for when we move together) there's always questions, specially because of those rude jugdemental comments from friends and strangers. Please keep posting these vídeos because it gives the hope me and my boyfriend need to just follow our hearts. Many blessings from Portugal

I totally feel you on the whole people judging thing. I got engaged at 21 and getting married at 22, I felt like I had let down my family members who always thought I would have a career and all that first but like you said, when you know... you know and honestly my fiancé makes me more motivated in life , loves me unconditionally, and supports me so I don’t see how they can be unhappy about choosing to be together forever with someone that does that for you. I never expected to marry at this time of my life but God surprises each of us and his plan is always better. Thank you for sharing your experience, hope our marriage is half as blissful as yours seems to be.

I got married at 21 and my husband and I both look super young, so we always get comments...my parents got married at 20 and are happily married 35 years later, and my brother got married at 21 too, so it never seemed like a big deal to me and I knew my husband was the one. On our honeymoon, we went out to eat and someone asked us if we were there for the high school graduation dinner they were having. We laughed and said no we are on our honeymoon, and the guy said "you like 15 at most" ...good times :)

Hey Kristin, it's so lovely to hear the things that have impacted you in your marriage so far. I just wanted to share some encouragement with you. I'm 19 and am soon to be married (October) to my fiancé who is 23. So I can understand completely the judgment and criticism strangers (and sometimes friends) can give when learning how young you are to be married, sometimes it can hurt because they cant see the joy and excitement in it! But what has given me deep comfort when people are negative is knowing the Fathers heart towards marriage. He is filled with such great joy to see you and Marcus join in such a beautiful union. What an incredible treasure it is to have someone you can spend your life loving the way our Father loves us. A marriage is an incredible reflection of Gods love for his people. God sees you and Marcus and deeply treasures the life you're building together as husband and wife. You and Marcus are taking part in one of the greatest adventures there is. Enjoy it and all it has for you!!! Much love Xxx

Spiritual connection you feel to Marcus is not strange at all. Remember the quote from Bible: "That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24) Woman and man become one in marriage. 😊

Ok Kristin, seriously I feel like we are soul sisters! I also went to college in Florida (at Southeastern University in Lakeland... it's a small Christian school!) my husband and I got married a few months before you and Marcus (we've been married almost a year now!) And we got a new puppy shortly before you guys got camper! :) I feel like I connect to so much that you share on your videos. My husband and I also love spending nights together watching "The Office" in bed (we've watched it twice through together! Haha :) and I love how similar we are as couples! We just moved across country as well (from Michigan to Alabama) and so I totally am in the same place as you are with missing your family and friends. I'm always so encouraged watching your videos and seeing your love for Jesus shine through! You are so beautiful inside and out and I hope you and your sweet little family are enjoying this season of life like mine is!! Much love to you sweet girl!! Chelsea 💕

I don't get the whole "wow you're married so you can't go party" mentality. If you're in a healthy relationship, your partner won't weigh you down and make sure you never have fun. You're still 2 different people that have 2 different lives but now that you're married, your lives overlap. You're not tied down in a healthy relationship. You're meant to be growing and going through life together. I get so many negative comments from people about getting married young. Everyone seems to think that marriage is a trap. It's not. If you both work hard at your relationship, you both communicate, and never hold a grudge, then it's a beautiful thing. It's so satisfying to see your hard work pay off. Once you have a great foundation in your marriage or relationship, things get much easier and your lives become harmonious. Marriage is really a humbling experience when you give it your all.

I think long distance is a great way to solidify a relationship....... it's easier to have the person come and go.... your use to them not being there but your happy when they are. It also really helps your communication skills..... I find we (my hubby and i) get to the point of issues. Also getting married young means you grow together❤

This is such a sweet video! ❤️ God bless you and Marcus in your marriage!! 💕 This is kind of a silly question, but before you met Marcus were you ever worried that you wouldn't get married? I'm 19, in college, and have never had a boyfriend (or even been on a date) and I always wonder when I'll meet someone. I'm a Christian and want to be with a guy who holds the same values as me and I know I have to trust God but I just really wonder when He'll bring the right guy into my life.

It's the hardships that make a marriage what it is, just like anything in life, nothing worth while is ever particularly easy, but it's worth all the trouble getting it..... but when you focus on the good you rarely see the troubles
