5 THINGS I 'DISLIKE' ... | 2018 AUDI S1 QUATTRO!

Well we agreed on a couple of our dislikes..cost (I said extras as they really ramp up the price),dated infotainment and the location of the drive select button. Interestingly my wife had an ex demo Comp Nav for 6 months before buying a brand new one a brand to her spec. but didn't go for the Comp Nav. The only difference between the 2 was that her new one has a black roof, red brake calipers, slightly different 18 inch wheels, silver mirrors, heated seats and the Bose stereo as part of the Technology pack (way better than the standard system..though still only OK) The Quattro interior pack is really needed to differentiate it from the standard A1. I agree that it doesn't really fit into any market segment..the obvious Golf R rival being both bigger and about 5K more when spec. matched. In character it reminds me of my old 205 gti 1.9..big engine in a little car..it's just FUN! Way more fun than my Macan S...although it's nice to have a big car when you need it. Re. Rear seats..only 2 not 3 as in standard A1's! I don't think it's too bad. I'm a long legged 5ft11 and I can sit behind myself without discomfort..though I wouldn't want to be there for more than an hour. My 2 boys 9 and 13 have never complained. The truth is that if you want a small fun 4 wheel drive quality hot hatch..it's on its own.👍

Interesting points raised buddy, and yeah, that's a lot of money for such a small car that's definitely not the most practical in its class. I look forward to your thoughts on driving it!

Yeah, a big shame really but this is a prime example on a car a consumer wants but isn't willing to pay the price for the extra development/manufacturing costs (quattro, bigger engine etc) As for driving, I think the people have now seen enough of me talking about the S1 haha! Sounds like Frank Lampard, although thats not a compliment considering the way he behaved towards Klopp in their recent match. Great car though but seems like a very negative review to be honest. If there were aspects of a car I didnt like, I simply wouldnt buy it in the first place. Too many video on here like this. I take no notice of car reviews because its down to personal choice. I dont buy one then say to everyone I dont like this or that about it ! As an example, boot too small ? Get a car with a bigger boot then ! Ridiculous.

I don't follow football, so can't really comment on that statement As for the S1, I'm reviewing the vehicle on providing honest personal opinion on the car; to help people interesting research before buying You can say you buy a car and love it completely, all cars have flaws/traits so not sure what you're getting at!
