Molded stitching is common in all cars. You can’t stitch the plastic/foam dash unless it’s a separate layer such as leather in high end cars and applied to the dash as a top layer.

I agree, those things are so Minor I haven't thought of those. My complaint if any and I love my stinger would be the fake sound, give the car a set of balls, with a performance exhaust system. Then it would be the perfect machine. Btw, the way 2021 stinger looks like it may hAve a variable exhaust system, thank God Kia listens to feedback.

Yea the exhaust could be way better, but most cars are that way straight from the factory. At least there are aftermarket parts available to beef up the sound. Anxious to see how the 2021 sounds.

I disagree. They did this car right. Stock it’s appeals to moms and such and for the rest of us gear heads it’s a perfect car to mod. And u can mod it to be whatever u want. If u want big clanking balls go for it 🙌👍😜

The hatch hold button will unlock just the hatch on the GT. Once opened, it locks back. Seems minor but all of the Stingers use the same fob, so I guess they figured they needed to do something with it.

I wish Kia had put the auto start/stop feature in a menu rather than a button, so you could decide whether you wanted it off or on and it would stay on that setting unless you went back into the menu and changed it. 🤔

Got the GT2 model yesterday. So thatsss what that auto stop button does.. I kept seeing that light pop on. Now I know lol

Auto stop start drives me nuts too. My biggest beef is there is no way to completely disable the emergency brake sensor on the highway. Mine has the trunk button though, guess its just on the limited version. The button works on my remote, again might be level of trim specific. The emergency braking can be very dangerous. I was recently on the highway and had to change lanes at speed. the car in front of me braked suddenly and as I was moving into the next lane, the car slammed the brakes thinking I was going to collide with the car in front of me. Damn near hit the car beside me as I lost speed. You can turn down its sensitivity but you cannot turn it off. Also the TPS sensors drive me nuts. They are not very accurate.

Yea I just have the GT, I feel that should be standard as far as the trunk. That sucks with the emergency braking, glad you weren’t in a accident 🙏🏾

Omg I said the same thing about the trunk button one day I was looking for it inside of my car and on my key fob it’s not even a button and I have a 2022 ugh it’s a gt line but still a trunk button is needed on any car

Good video. None of those items bother me (With a GT2 I have a trunk button yay!). Only bother of mine.....Hood Vents. Luckily mine is Aurora Black so you can't really see them but, fake vents? Boo.

Yea with the trunk it could of been standard for all models IMO. Would of been nice if the hood vents wasn’t fake as well.

@@LoneStarStinger Could but many of the aftermarket hoods with real vents are garbage and actually imped airflow. So far I have seen one that was solid but, the fake vents dont bother me quite enough to replace the hood/vents......yet.

The Trunk Button & Auto Start/Stop things I agree with, But my biggest gripe is the fake hood vents I just got my 2020 Stinger GT last month and I love the car overall

The GT is pretty much the base model, but I do agree that a trunk release should be standard. Stiching on a plastic panel is not really a thing.
