I agree bro. The biggest flaw was the engine. 2.0 would've made it more popular and more customizable. Upgraded turbo is a must eventually

I agree with everything you said about the engine. I also have a 13 VT and I had about 4 misfires with the engine... I have no tune or anything. Besides that I love this car I got the boomba bov, mbrp exhaust, injen cold air intake.

That’s also a nice set up! And thats unfortunate that you got 4 misfires but sometimes it happens to every car when like ignition coils or sparkplugs get old, but if you push a 4 cylinder car more then it will likely happen thats why i said it’s a smaller engine and smaller turbo for a sportier car

t’s better to have a bigger door on the drivers side because there’s more visibility with the bigger window, so it’s actually genius design. The glass top is also genius as more light to compensate for the cramped space

It’s funny that you say that because I made a build cost video with all of my mods for my next video and I will upload it probably tonight so stay tuned! If there id any specific mods thats you want from that video, you can always ask where I got them from because I don’t list where I got them all, only for some.

You got the regular version turbo Veloster dude that's reason why you don't have the panoramic roof. Veloster is a nice little compact hatch the third door is what makes it unique and stands out that's what Hyundai was going for and not trying to be like all the rest it's not a race rocket pretty slow for a stock car have to do some big mods for it to hang with a Golf GTI or a Focus ST

Yo did you order those tires off a website? If so where? Also I'm about to get a gt3582 turbocharger and my 2013 veloster is the base model, I can't find a video on guidance to installing it... any advice?

I ordered them through a shop, they are falken lower profile tires and im not to sure about turbochargers but if you do install turbo chargers in the base model i would look into changing stuff like fuel injectors etc. but sorry dont know to much about installing that

Normally people buy a Veloster is because they like the 3 door design, what I’m saying is if someone wants a back door on the driver’s side, they will choose other cars

99k and yes it is still reliable knock on wood haha and i havent heard too much about the rods
