well you have to realize that compared to european cars, they're toyotas
@chosone24 ай бұрын
As someone from the UK, Subaru is generally super reliable. The main issue is that there are fewer Subaru garages about and the parts are harder to come by when something does go wrong. It's generally just more convenient to get a Toyota, for more proximity to garages and more parts about because Toyotas are just more abundant
@Jmlatmr873 ай бұрын
Subaru are great! My Forester hit over 300,000 miles.
@clonescope2433Ай бұрын
Yeah, one thing I'm noticed about Subarus in the US and people who usually say they're unreliable are the people who say take him to the track or try to rally them but modify everything but the actual core components you need to modify to make sure your Subaru doesn't blow up. Like the Forester, the outback the crosstrek I have yet to see one broken down on the side of the road and barely ever see them in the garage.

I love the idea of a book that basically outlines all of the work dune to these cars and then states "Here's where we should have stopped" haha.

James is an absolute LEGENDDDD, great collab. He wants to be there for that hi-low drag race, invite him back when the cars are done! AND PUT A NICE JAMES GIN LIVERY ON THOSE BEAUTIES

James May cars of the People 1 and 2 is very worth a watch for every petrol head who wants to learn the history of the everyday cars you see on the road from the Fiat 500 to the BMW 3 series and everything in between including the downfall of Detroit and the British automotive industry.

James May is literally my favourite person on the planet this is a cracking video and it's literally just an old man walking round judging some cars.

Yes James, the standard Z33 is extremely reliable. DE coupe (06) from '13 to '20, HR roadster (07) since '21. Ne. Ver. Bro. Ken.

awesome to have such a Legend in house! I feel like the Donut staff may have been a bit put off or intimidated. I know I would be, He is Automotive royalty. Very Cool having him there!

Poor Henry, he left us too soon. He's the Mac Miller of cutting through wiring harnesses
@josebrown59614 ай бұрын
I don’t know maybe they could get someone to fix that harness? There is a KZbinr Sara-N-Tuned she could fix that harness. I wouldn’t say easily but she could do it. She currently is working on a Gen 1 Celica. She is putting a Toyota V8 in it. She has wired it all herself.

90 seconds in and James is infinitely more engaged than he was the entire time with Leno ffs. You could tell he was curious about the Hi Lo concept too haha which makes a lot of sense I guess. This is gonna be a good one
