Taking my exam in 2 weeks from today! I have to say I’ve followed most of these recommendations and it has definitely shown so far, Ive self studied for 3.5 months split equally between content review and practice problems. With the right motivation and dedication to it self studying is definitely a great option and saves you a ton of money compared to a prep course too!

yes it is possible, I just took the test on June 19th (studied for 5 months during school and work) then I went hard 1 month before the test. I got a 515 and am very happy with it. Just make sure you are accountable and actually study for a little bit every day when you do medium intensity. I went to classes then came home and studied every day. It is definitely possible. Let me know if you need any tips!

@@MindOfSheesh The secret? Perhaps because NOBODY studied for the MCAT. In 1950 only sons of rich people and Doctors went to Medical School, so selection was not very competitive. The process gradually became more egalitarian up through the 1970s. As more students realized that Medical School was an achievable goal, things got more competitive.
