Listen to Chris. Whatever he said is absolutely correct. I am first generation doctor as well. My other relatives are into maths and the arts. Learning in college is totally different from med school. To this day (I am an EM Physician), I still wonder how I managed to pass. I am an excellent crammer. That worked well for passing exams but not for being a good doctor. Try to learn for your future in the profession…and not just for exams. If you learn a topic well, you passing the exams will follow.

I’m majoring in molecular biology and genetic and bioengineering in a foreign country (I’m not american) but I have been thinking about maybe applying for med school in USA. The thing is that in my country there is no such thing as pre med. You just get into med school and study. I didn’t want to go to med school in my country but as I started majoring in molecular biology I realized that I do want to go to medical school. So like, I’m so lost as to how a foreigner applies for schools in the US and how the process just works.

Dr. Chris first and foremost congrats on matching fellowship and on 1 million! I’m starting OMS-1 in 5 weeks and this (along with many other IG videos you posted) is super helpful, thank you! I also will be in this 3-year accelerated primary care pathway b/c I want to go into FM, what motivated you to go into FM? Do you find it rewarding?
@doctorchris Жыл бұрын
Thank you Edwin and congrats on starting medical school. What I love about family medicine is being able to treat patients of all ages and provide care across various medical needs. I always knew I wanted to do FM, and during my medical journey I fell in love with primary care sports medicine. I 100% find my job rewarding :) don’t give up!! You’ll become a great doctor.

Are u Christian, then pls can u give me advice pls, i've lost contact with The Lord pls, pls, help me if u can
@bseventeenth3 ай бұрын
Friend, you never lost contact with the Lord. Jesus wants you to know that no matter what you’ve done, He still loves you and even if you can’t feel Him, is close to your side. Come back home and run into His loving arms like the prodigal son. Jesus is waiting for you Don’t forget His promises to never leave nor forsake you, “And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Matt 28:20 please accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior

@@marijesauthenticchannelenj9437 I’m sorry for what ever made you feel that way, but there is not an ounce of hatred in Jesus for you. I respect your decision of course but there is still hope, there is still love, even for you
