Just got a silver 1999 c5 a week ago and absolutely love it have had a 5.0 and 4.6 mustang and it really is a different animal on handling and it really does feel faster even if it isn’t btw 6”5 and fit just fine he wasn’t lying

I wound up in a C5 because I wanted a convertible and at 6'2" I could sit upright and not be staring at the windshield header. The seats are for touring comfort, and the rocking issue mentioned is from easily repairable wear, not a design defect. I think the lack of people wanting to race is the probability of too many sleepers, since the cars have a thriving aftermarket parts industry despite their age.

Get a jumpbox like Noku boost GB40 or stronger. It's a lifesaver. Don't ever try to jumpstart a C5 with another car. You could damage the electronics.

Yeah I actually keep a jumper pack in the truck at all times. It has saved me a few times lol 😂

A couple months ago I picked up a C6 Corvette and now I’m slightly regretting it because I found out that Greddy makes a beautiful widebody for the C-5

“Its not as cool as an rx7” I know fast and furious Tokyo drift is a pretty cool movie but a c5 outclasses a FD in every way hence why the only way to fix them is to swap in a Corvette engine lol
