Here's the deal folks. It's all gonna come down to your product. And the reality is, you're not gonna be able to get the RIGHT product. You're gonna end up having a product that 300 other sellers are ALSO selling. You're not gonna get brand names. If you do, you're gonna have to buy them through master agents/authorized resellers. If you buy through an authorized reseller, and sell at a low enough price to get the buy-box, someone will report you to Amazon as selling "fake" stuff. Amazon will then ask you to show receipts that are directly from the manufacturer. You won't have that. Since you won't have that, Amazon will shut you down. Even though you have verified real product, you won't be able to produce a receipt that says it was purchased direct. Why does Amazon do this? No one knows. My thought is......Amazon doesn't need 300 sellers each selling 10 items a day. They would rather have 1 seller selling 3,000 items per day. Let's say you DO happen to buy direct from the manufacturer. So will hundreds of others that have MILLIONS in purchasing power. I've been there, and done that. I had 200k in cash available for purchasing power, and I couldn't make it work. And this comment has been deleted on most Amazon FBA videos that I've posted it to. 30% ROI is unreachable unless you have a product you invented or have exclusive rights to. 30% is laughable. Just sayin.

@YouDontKnow-that26 күн бұрын
@@Normandy-w5o I don't know if tricky is the word. Something almost unattainable. Think about Amazon. Think of how big they are. Do they need you? I'm not saying its not possible. I'm saying its a long shot. Getting products that you can get competitive prices on and sell for competitive prices is the hard part. Really hard.

I can say that during the prohormone stage, I was making well over a 38% kickback. I bought direct from all the manufacturers and was making right at 60k with a 38% profit line. I didn't need a staff. I have 6 older siblings with kids. I employed all my nieces and nephews from around age 16 and paid them under the table. That was 6 teenagers. Hell I'm basically responsible for the 3 that went to college not having to work much at all based on what I paid them while they were teens. I didn't have a hard time securing product because I was in the supplement game from around 1997. So my experience from back then helped when i started selling online years later. I had already built tons of contacts and relationships by 2003ish. Ebay was even simpler. I netted roughly 16k per year from there. Once the prohormone game got clipped due to big government, I got out. I became an early adopter of BTC and never looked back. A 5-yr run on both platforms turned into "early retirement" once btc took off. The only selling online I do now is helping my wife with her clothing/makeup sells.

Most people that make videos are talking about what they did 4-8 years ago or 10 yrs ago when it was easier. Now they make videos talking in the present tense and just drop affiliate links in the description. They then get paid off of those links. Nothing wrong with getting paid from the affiliates but they need to quit acting as if they are doing these things now in 2024. Not saying this guy is lying. I'm just stating a fact to how most run these, what we call, plays.
@anonymousentity353721 күн бұрын
@@appkeytechology That's how reselling and wholesale retail work.... you have to buy the products in bulk, which is usually your biggest fee. If a product cost you $20's per unit, and the market's current rate for the product is $35 per unit, you profit the difference of $10's, minus other fee's like shipping, apps, etc. So if you sell 1,000 units at $35 a unit, you make $35,000 worth of sales, but in reality you really only made roughly $7's per unit, so around $7,000 in profit. That is how $300k in sales equates to roughly $40k in profits. In one month, $40,000 profit at basically passive income is outstanding.
