Thanks for making this video Sundas! This video really does talk about what data science in the real world is like and as a data scientist myself, I can totally relate. It’s reassuring to know that there are others who’ve been on the same journey of career discovery including all the hits and misses and essentially understanding what this field actually entails.

I can so relate to this video! Do you think it makes sense to create a common document that has the information about what these different roles mean in different companies? Atleast for bigger companies. Or do you think it exists somewhere already?

, I am Pursuing Bachelors in bsc biotechnology from a nearby college but recently I came to know about Data Science and its scope. If I am doing a decent online course of data science and practising some good projects from scratch. Will my bachelor's degree create an impediment for me to get a job in MNCs

When i started data science i was lost in all the math and as time passes you feel like you are forgetting all of it. So i would say it's very crucial to start with a project and then work your way up from there to learn all other things. In this way even those don't like math a lot will enjoy it.

I see so many data scientist on youtube,instagram-they post so many things just to make content which makes harder for people who actually wanna learn.I mean internet is huge and those who want to become something in their field they are being dragged behind everyday just because a person posted a content on what not to do to become data scientist.I am just saying please post content which is different from every other person.I follow your channel and I respect your work ethic but please provide a most possible specific way so that person wont stuck in the field of learning and they could actually get ahead in their life from learning other person experience.EVERY PERSON SAY LEARN EXCEL,LEARN SQL LEARN THIS AND THAT AND BUT PLEASE SHOW US PRACTICAL TASKS SO THAT WE KNOW WHAT WE WOULD GO THROUGH in our upcoming jobs.

I am 32, so if I start learning it now, assuming I do well, and say I apply for job at 33, will someone hire me ? Do HRs even consider those above 30 for a job ? This is what I am really apprehensive about.

Hello ma'am..I want a advice from you ... actually I have a strong mathematical background and I'm very interested in maths ...and also I'm very fascinate about data science but i only know the surface level data science things so that I joined bsc data science course ...but my concern is 1.i don't have a coding background can I cope up with the course 2. Will my mathematical background help in data science course 3. Is it really interesting to do the data scientist job being a mathematical keeda 2.

How do a find a Data Science mentor who specialises in Python? I’m doing Masters in Data Science and did assessments using Python and got HD but I’m really struggling in real Data role where I have to work with real data! Especially writing multiple complex business conditions with string data! Not many KZbin videos show how to define complex functions with string data! Example calculate customer age based on DOB in data and exclude minors from assessment or if a person is a foreign resident(based on address) exclude from assessment etc

I'm just beginning to investigate data science as a career and you gave me some more terms/positions to investigate. I had only heard of data analyst. As overwhelming as the massive amount of information that is available is, I'm glad to have another application of data science as a possibility. I don't know if changing careers is really in my future, but I've wanted to find an option as I don't know if I can stay where I am until retirement. I am currently a scientist and my favorite part of any work I have done is the data. Despite working in science I haven't ever done much with data besides very simple tabulations. I have access to a lot, but our focus is not on analysis of it.

Sundas, thank you for making these videos. I'm coming from a non tech background as well with a BS in communication sciences and disorders I wanted to be a speech language pathologist but after starting a family I really want a remote position and still get paid well. I'm just starting out learning about the skill sets needed, the programs used and everything that would help me become qualified to work some where under this umbrella and enjoy it...it's a lot to learn and I'm completely intimidated because I don't know anything about this field and worried if I'd actually land a job with no experience...hoping for the best...thank you again for brining insight!

Hi Sundas, do you offer mentoring? You have such a great data science story, I'd like to participate in any mentoring you may offer.
@SundasKhalid2 жыл бұрын
Hi Natalie, I don’t at the moment. I’m still figuring out how to manage full-time job, KZbin, IG and home. Hopefully once I figure out how to navigate my world more efficiently, mentorship would be a good area to focus on. Until then, my content on KZbin and IG is the best way to find value. If there is a specific topic you want me to talk about, feel free to suggest. I’m pretty good about taking feedback and topic suggestions.
