As an INFP-T alike I don't think life was meant to be difficult for us, I just know that given our outstanding unique ability to, almost shape shift emotionally while being somewhat authentic we, develop a mental consciousness at a supremely early stage of our life, for me it was age 12 at middle school. But the people around us (especially of leadership in a general matter) is hellbent on holding us down due, to their misconstrued notion that we are premature at the same level as the rest I think that is were our burn out starts from, we are actually very social creatures us INFP's our major obstacle is having to compete, especially with all the misconception people fantasize about us, due to our unconventional nature in other to feed the human nature of superiourity complex in them, and have them believe they have us figured out. It's the misconceptions that, hurt me, specifically, and a lack of patience, and conversation to compose the truth.

I was an INFP-T when younger but as you get older, you learn to use your strengts... And it get better and better! A few key steps (which are also useful in a workplace) Learn to say no Use your broad knowledge in many topics to be the most interesting person in the room to build up connections with ppl Build relationships with the "good" people Join brainstorming sessions - this is where you can thrive! "Heal" other ppl but not by giving up who you are Have at least one creative "output" And just keep searching! The world is full of wondere, don't get stuck on negativity...

Valuing yourself is the hard bit for us. But if you have a family member or anyone that sees something special in you, my internal dialogue is: This amazing person saw so much potential in me, I will try and strive to reach my fullest potential and make them proud, and prove they were right for believing in me! -This usually hypes me up to work harder and really make the better choices that comes from the heart. Once it comes from the heart, everything is easy.

@@Tomo-xu1zf ❤️ yesss, It has to come from the heart. Forcing myself to do something is tough!! But I always end up doing it!! (Well these days, nothing is motivating me.)

@@alinamazhar9234 I see a little bit of stress (forcing yourself to do something you don't "feel like doing" but "needs to be done") is a good thing. Even if it is something slightly out of your comfort zone. Because once you complete it, you can be proud that you have stepped out of your comfort zone and accomplished something. And that "out of the comfort zone" becomes part of your comfort zone. You grow as a person and you obtain skills and knowledge. I'm sorry to hear that you don't have motivation. Just remember there are people that care about you more than you think, that believe in you. And if it isn't too much for you, try and grow yourself to your fullest potential step by step.

Very accurate. As a Counsellor, my work often involved the exploration of Values as a path to greater integrity. My clients would often remark on my intuitive abilities. My ability to see what to me was o virus, but to them seemed like I was psychic. In actual fact I am just good at listening both to what is said and also discerning what is unspoken. We are special. We just need to learn to laugh at ourselves more when we do and really embarrassing stuff!

I often wonder, as I once did for the enneagram, if I watched videos, of each and every type, would I not, honestly, find something that resonated with me? Or because my mind works in the way it does, I could always call upon some instance or event or happenstance where I could say, ‘yes, I identify with that personality’ That all said, what if personality tests like this are only for stupid people, that don’t know how to see through it, and then identify themselves as ‘this’ or ‘that’s depending on what seems good to them?

I also thought of this before, what if we are being manipulated into acting this way ,by constantly feeding us things that trigger us,they then shut down these thoughts that we have by saying " 'this type' likes to over think" to make us feel we are overthinking something and forcefully shutdown😢

But INFPs and INFJs have none of the same cognitive functions. They may act alike but they have entirely different thought processes. For example INFPs are way less aware about the line between peer and good friend, they absorb more information without actually fully computing it, and they don’t really take control often even when they think they should. INFJs will take in less info but will take it all into account when making a decision, they will have many casual friends and know the exact ranking of their friend groups, and they are fine with taking control and never want to give it up. Also unhealthy INFPs will usually subscribe to the strategy of a pick-me victim while unhealthy INFJs will subscribe to the strategy of narcissistic gaslighter. All in all INFJs are more socially competent and decisive while INFPs are more open ended when it comes to relationships and choices. INFPs are a choose your own adventure in the moment while INFJs are a let’s plan the next year or so ahead. That’s what I’ve seen at least.

What that person said, but also the depth of emotional connection. We can see everything through the lens of *feel* and it's often overwhelming. Lets be honest, there's a lot of pain and sorrow in the world, as well as beauty; as those who wish to build bridges with others and heal the pain, but recognizing that we CANT POSSIBLY .... it's just a recipe for concentrated grief.
