I dated a guy that had a wandering eye and he would stare at women all the time. So I flipped it. When men walked by I leaned in and said, "he looks like he makes more money than you". Another guy walked by and I said, "yeah he probably makes a little more than you do". That's the equivalence of when men stare at other women, you give a stranger too much value, so in return I explained what that feels like. That feeling of a little bit of you being chipped away. He definitely understood. He was pissed but he got the message. It's one thing to look or glance casually but staring is ridiculous and disrespectful.

I can agree with most of these things, but staring at other women while in the presence of your woman is disrespectful and immature. It is gaslighting to turn it around on the woman because she feels a way about it. She didn’t ask the man to be disrespectful and sometimes the woman he’s staring at is embarrassed and uncomfortable. He can look at other women when he’s not with his woman. I don’t care if men hate being called out for being disrespectful. I enjoy being in the company of men who have better self-control than the ones who have their eyes glued to every ass trotting by.

I appreciate the insight into a man's mind. I do wish men could understand a woman's mind too! What a wandering eye does to your woman's self worth is so damaging. Probably the biggest insecurity most women have is "Am I attractive enough?" When you are hanging on your man's arm loving him to the core and he is watching some random woman walk by, this is how it feels to your woman...I AM INVISIBLE TO HIM. Your "15 seconds" is a lifetime to a woman who feels invisible in that moment. "Petty" to a man can be heartbreak to a woman. Men, please remember, just like we don't always understand YOUR brains, y'all don't understand OURS either! RESPECT YOUR LADY just as you want her respect. Use your eyelids, your neck, and turn away from that hot woman walking by! Instead, turn your attention towards your woman, ignoring the others, and you will see an even deeper love start to surface from her! Keep up the good work, I am learning ALOT!
@mistyobannon30813 жыл бұрын
I agree with most of this video, but the “petty jelly” I have an issue with. I am a very strong, confident woman, so it isn’t a jealousy issue for me. When men are liking/loving other women’s pics on social media, there is a point which it becomes blatant disrespect to the woman he is with. It depends on the content itself, but I can tell you that when I’m in a serious relationship, I am not going to be liking other men’s pics based on looks. That is disrespectful to the man I am with. If it is a status/life change update, a statement or comment that you agree with, or a content related post, then yes by all means like it; but when you are just scrolling through hot women for their looks….NOT OK. That’s no different than him commenting “you’re sexy” on their pics.

I'm so glad they're divorced now.

Then there is no need for him to be staring at any other woman when he is truly satisfied, happy, pleased, love etc the one he is with. Let her be his eye candy; I am just saying. That man should respect the one he is with and vice versa. Petty to some serious to others. Some of us do so much to look nice for ourselves and our man let's keep it real. That's very disrespectful and an insult. Even if you look glance, do not disrespect by staring. Make a decision do you want who you are with or who you are staring or looking at( which easily turns into lust!!!!!) If it's 1 sec.! And I know these are only examples of what we shouldn't do.

No, it’s so much worse. Emotional abuse is far more damaging and so much harder to heal from than physical abuse. A narcissistic partner can destroy your life from the inside out - from the depths of your soul to turning ALL neighbors, friends and family against you. Even if you’ve had the greatest parents who stuck by you your whole life, your narcissistic person can destroy that bond you never thought possible leaving you feeling abandoned by your mom and dad and them taking your place as their newly adopted child. They’re that good.

A very large percentage of the concerns addressed in the video could be mitigated if each person in the relationship would just invoke the golden rule. Treat your partner the way you want and deserved to be treated. You can only control what you do and who you give your energy to, so decide wisely. I agree 100% that communication is the foundational key so we should be free to say what we are feeling at anytime. If you are in a relationship in which you can’t freely express yourself in a respectful and authentic manner, you may want to look into removing yourself from the connection.

Especially if Faithfulness is the goal 🎁 & That goes for both parties because Women like other Men's pictures to Not to mention how it could make the woman feel ya know liking other womens pictures has the potential to say you're not enough We have to do our best on both ends to create the atmosphere we need in order for our relationships to thrive & be healthy Thank You for all you do Sealz 🏆 I believe your main goal is to make us more self aware & equip us to function better in life & in our relationships 😊 Thank you for Tonight's Share

Petty Jelly hmm🤔 I like that, Sealz. The Bible says to watch as well as pray. Preventative measures, along with godly wistom, has brought me much success. For example, an attractive women needs someone to talk too. A man should think long term and try to include another female, to help. Rather than trying to handle things him self and run the risk of causing problems in his own relationship. I don't think women care if an honest complement is given. It's when it's too often or starring too long or talking too long to another woman. People are tired of dealing with adults that don't use common sense and the thought of trying to put what you work so hard for, together, with them is SCARY.

liking pictures on any social media ( the ones of half nude who seemingly own no other clothes but thong bikinis) is dis respectful. it leads to unnecessary temptation. the eyes are the window to the soul, and if you feed ur eyes, those thoughts linger. if thought on enough, it turns to desire, and we all know the people in those pictures receive notifications, and it opens a door for that person to reply. not to mention, I don't know a single man, who's ok with their ladies liking pics , or staring at the dude who always wears that certain pair of sweat pants, the ones that leave nothing to the imagination😳🍆🥒🌽 it's best, in my opinion, to do ur best to keep ur eyes on ur own person. I don't judge others if they are BOTH ok with wandering eyes. but to each their own. love ur advice, thank you for all you do!

But what if you’re dating a guy that said he isn’t going to date other women and you catch him talking to a girl on social media, which he planned several dates with, after he told you that he wouldn’t. He calls it off with her once you catch him, right before the second date and claims he is now committed and doesn’t want to lose you, but he continues to search for and follow new females on social media. I say search for because he is following them, but they’re not following him. He claims they don’t matter etc. and spends pretty much all his time with me, but he spent all his time with me before and was going behind my back. Is it then petty to bring up the girls on social media? I would think it was a valid concern.

@TamarasTreasureTrove3 жыл бұрын
Yes! This video was so necessary and I think addressing narcissism will help us delve deeper into factors that lead to toxicity in relationships. For example, sometimes men cheat on women and manipulate them financially, sexually, etc. but when some women feel confused and can’t figure out what’s going on, the men’s toxicity leads them to lash out by communicating ineffectively, hitting, avoiding communication and doing other things they wouldn’t normally do. This can happen vice versa so I think addressing narcissism and the need for honest accountability would be super helpful in another video ☺️

If you sense a dog bite, you don't go and buy a cage to take it home. Same as relationship, if it smells bad why tasting it.

Everything y’all hate we hate also 🗣meaning vise versa & none of my friends are allowed to have input in my relationship 😌 sooooooo um 😐 I agree with you… The women in my family knows not to tell a woman anything about her man or she’ll become the problem…

I like the late night shows better... You're always dropping knowledge and are a welcome change from the He-Man Woman Haters. The Late Night shows are a vibe though.

I had never let anyone run my relationship. But I have had men or should I say boys have. And they never stood up. Thats why I choose to be single. No drama. Drama free with a peace of mind .
