It’s so crucial to use your points in the right way, especially if you’re trying to get outsized value!

I saved about $4200 by converting points to Aeroplan and used them on two round trip flights for my wife and I. We used airport lounges 24 times last year, thanks for Amex Plat card’s unlimited lounge access for two😊

True... although it must be said that a business class ticket is only worth what you'd be willing to pay with cash... particularly for North American flights.

Hey! How can we redeem our $300 in path offer from TD, I can’t seem to find the 300 dollar credit anywhere

Great vid as usual, do you consider this good value? 630000 points for a 3 passenger, 2 stopovers trip; Montreal, Barcelona, Athens, Rome, Montreal. Both transatlantic flights are business and I have secured seats on both. The 2 inter euro flights are economy. I booked on Aircanada flexible latitude all points, can cancel or change any time. We need to travel during summer school break, so not so flexible. just curious what you think. thanks for the great content!

Terrible value. It should be 150k per person maximum with stopovers return. 70K one way + 5K for stopover with partner airlines. Could be cheaper with Air Canada depending on dynamic pricing.

Do you usually get a bad rate when redeeming points for statement credit?
@mintico Жыл бұрын
Don’t really agree with this. Some people use points to save like gifts card etc. with travel it usually involves additional expenses. And not everyone wants that. Also the price tag for business class/First class and luxury hotel rooms are usually inflated. So its like fake upsize value for your points.

I have an upcoming trip that I will most likely book from Qatar using Avios.. Question is should I go for Al Safwa? I have to book till India and don't really have a need to go to Dubai but I can add Dubai (with a separate return flight from Dubai to India) as a destination there by allowing me access to Al Safwa.. 😂 P.s: Also have snagged an Emirates business class seat, reason for being back in Dubai.. 😁

Seriously prince, how do you even get so much points. That's the question we wanna to know.

Precise spending, and active tracking of spending categories. There are so many kinds of credit cards with even more confusing point systems, so it really is a matter of your particular situation. It may be more difficult for low-income earners (I should know, I am one), but it will pay off in the long run. Though I like to spend my points on Costco memberships. No way am I spending money on those.
