One big word is flexibility which most of the working people don't have. With Dynamic pricing, the actual mileage required to fly business class is way higher than what is discussed here .

I tried looking for this magical 55k redemption ticket from Tokyo to Vancouver. Couldn't find anything even remotely close to that 🤷🏻♀️

They always post unrealistic minimum point amounts.
@felyg318 ай бұрын
Exactly - it's very blown out in these videos. It's very rare to find these minimum points. Dynamic pricing really makes these minimum points RARE.

We normally see the minimum if we plan 330-360 days ahead for a high-end travel plan.

Just booked the Singapore airline business class from EWR to BKK with a transit at Changi for 87.5k aeroplan and 88 dollars. 21 hours of great food and service plus the Silverkris lounge at T3. II was able to select the 10A bulkhead seat on the ULR without being a PPS member, which is essential on the second longest flight in the world😁😁😁

Agreed! Pretty much all the partner airlines have removed their business class tickets from Aeroplan. It's like winning the lottery if you can get off the continent in business class for under 250k points per person one way.

@@CJnh5vpwould you say this makes an aeroplan credit card not worth it anymore?
@CJnh5vp8 ай бұрын
@@abuventertainment2856 I still collect them but honestly for economy they are fine or bus within the continent. To get out of North America you are easily paying 350-500k pts return in biz to Asia or Europe etc. I prefer to collect Amex pts now and use the for hotels.

What strings do I have to pull to find these 55K business class flights to Tokyo? I've been trying to book a business class flight to Taiwan for a while now and can't find any ANA flights nor Eva Air on AC's website. The flights show up on google flights but they're absent from Air Canada when trying to book. The flights I do find on AC and other airlines are so extremely priced due to dynamic pricing I'm beginning to think my dream of business class flight on pure points is dead. 140-200k+ one-way just feels like a waste
@CJnh5vp8 ай бұрын
Same issue, its been this way for over a year or more now. Super disappointing. I have complained to AC and they couldn't care less.
@felyg318 ай бұрын
They are extremely rare now for 55k points due to dynamic pricing. And even if you do find it, it's probably not going to fit your schedule/timing.

Even if family sharing comes back, you’re still going to have a hard time booking flights to Japan. Transpacific flights are rare these days even if you’re flexible

Hello, due to the technicality, if I may refer you to the "Referral Terms & Condition" from American Express? It can be found at the same place where you can copy the referral link from your own American Express account. In the Terms & Conditions you will find the appropriate information.

I always found the business class/first class goAl funny. Business class is like economy with a bigger tv, coach and slightly less mediocre food for a few hours.. Imagine paying thousands for that. I'd rather spend all that on travel experiences or hotels.

I liked the video, though I don’t think you should be mixing sponsors into your ratings like that. It makes this a biased list which hurts credibility. For example, I would’ve expected World of Hyatt to be on this list instead of Marriott Bonvoy. But they didn’t pay for a sponsor slot
@PrinceofTravel8 ай бұрын
Hello, I understand the value of World of Hyatt, but there is no Credit Cards offered in Canada, nor is there any viable way to transfer any form of transferrable bank points currency to Hyatt, not even American Express does that in both Canada and US. Hence it is of limit use for Canadian. Unlike in the US, Chase cards points can be transferred to Hyatt. If this video is targeted to US audience, I will have no problem putting Hyatt in this list. But back to the original point, there is no easy way to accumulate Hyatt points in Canada.

Can't believe you don't have Hyatt on this list
@PrinceofTravel8 ай бұрын
Hello, that's because it is much harder to get Hyatt points from Canada. In the US, you can get Chase cards or even the Hyatt cards. But not in Canada. Fortunately, we have a pair of Bonvoy cards, hence it is mentioned here.
