I feel like Sheik's side b is a super underrated move. It might be laggy but since it doesn't clank anymore, it can limit their options and can force a grab and it can also kill if they try to dodge your grab.

I would use it in niche ledge trapping situations, since it's a bit too slow otherwise and the opponent can run away, but in ledge trap situations, you can use it to condition the opponent to run away to specific locations and keep trapping them.

One thing to add to this is realize what Sheiks good at. You might be struggling during a fight but just wake up and realize that your attacks are faster and longer than lots of your opponents.if your having a hard time killing try to think of every move that kills and make a plan. Or just cry cuz your probably not gonna kill them unless they fail their recovery....

You don't have to walk slowly for that short up b. Just dash offstage and use it right when you're about to fall

You can also use jab jab to lock people in shield if you are behind them and they don’t have any good out of shield options it can be really really op. Example: If u jab jab wolfs shield and keep repeating it he can’t upsmash out of shield. You can use this to force people to jump or roll.

I'm not a great sheik player, but a mix up I like doing and up b and holding down so I stay in the same place. It's like a spot dodge and does damage when timed right. I have caught some players off guard with this and it can do alot of damage/kill.

Shiek is awesome, but like Greninja it's a lot of work with not as much reward as say palutena pika etc. Who are easier to play and get more reward for their less work.

Greninja is actually a bit more consistant, and his reward are insane x) he just has an ok neutral where sheik is very good at it

@@MrFloshadow he has almost nothing as true combo so it's hard to rely on anything other than bair spam. Which gets outspaced by anybody higher on the tier list than him, or they have better/more options, or both. When 1 move is your go to, you become predictable. If you're predictable you can he easily beaten. He's a punish based character, but he's far from being the best punish based character. He's not even top 15 best punish based characters and like I said, there's characters who are better at punishing and have other things going for them.

Hi Sheikah brother. If you want to do the Vanish right in front of the ledge easily, just dash to the ledge, let Sheik praticaly finish the animation of the dash and then use the UpB. It's easier than walking, but it's a bit obvious for your ennemy. Hope this can help you.

Would you be interested to analyse maybe gameplay of you at a tournament and point out why you do certaint stuff as Sheik? Its kind of hard for me to know what i need to know/practice as Sheik because there is a lot of stuff that is unnessesary/just style points. Also kinda wonder you get frustrated so fast when not being able to do something.
