He was God so for Him to not ignore us and come down and die for us is so wonderful. Another thing is that His death was not just another death, it was very gruesome and terrible. They whipped Him with a very painful with, which had bones and metal on it to tear away skin and flesh, many times. He was also beaten and spit on and crucified in agony. The cross was truly gruesome but His sacrifice shows how much he loves us and really care for us. He wanted us to go to heaven so much that He died a terrible death then rose from the death so we can live with Him for eternity as we can’t live in Heaven forever without Him.
