Could u do a video on 401k and roth ira? Im in my mid 30s and don’t have a 401k or any retirement prep. Just savings but i hate getting taxed so much for it so would love to learn more about 401k and roth.

Does your employer offer a 401k? You should be able to opt in with a % if they offer it. Roth, you can open with Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwabb etc and have your paycheck auto sent to the account. Make sure you aren’t being charged tho because they all have different fee structures depending on what you are doing.

I'm assuming by "opening a Roth" after maxing out a 401k, you were actually trying to say open an IRA (IRA could be Roth or Traditional, just as a 401k can). Might be good to clarify what you were trying to say there.

Haha, like a spoiled bitch!! LOVE it! Trying to slowly work up my investments. Went from $10 month to $100 month towards my roth this month. Yay!! Aja, I made a video about Emergency Fund CD ladders I think you might like. I'm opening a 12 month CD every calendar month with $10 to just start them. When they mature in 12 months, I plan to throw more money in each one until each calendar month has a dedicated CD with a month worth of expenses. Once they're fully funded, I'll just keep rolling them year to year. Increase as needed when bills increase. It's probably going to take me 5-10 years, but I'll have a super charged EF when it's done! Sorry for rambling😅 Just wanted to share!
