I dislike how they advertise the Premium Plus as the ad-free version, but some of the content on there does still contain ads. I don't want to pay $10 a month to see any ads at all. Peacock is trash. I think we don't need every studio owning their own streaming service. Just have the studios partnering up with existing streaming services to be the exclusive home of all their content.

Same here! I had the WWE Network initially from the time it launched in 2014 up until it shut down, I myself pay for the ad free version and that’s pretty much the only content I use it for. But I have watched maybe 2-3 movies through it too and they’ve been great streaming wise

There is this great new invention, it's called the mute button. When an ad comes on, I hit mute and play on phone while the stupid ad plays. Won't pay for ads, and won't watch them. If they ever figure out a way to block the mute button I'll simply uninstall app, turn on VPN and find it another way.

Peacock did an excellent job with the Tour de France, but they could not have made the Olympic viewing more confusing if they had tried. It seems very comedy heavy, but Yellowstone makes it all worthwhile.

I can only agree wrt their TdF world feed access. World feed commentators are far superior to Peacock/NBC mouthpieces, who concentrate on only the top 2 or 3 teams and even then only their top 2 or 3 cyclists. And everything is either “fantastic” or a “disaster”.

$5 is great, the streaming is solid most of the time even my connection is not the greatest. I don't need to download the content since the streaming works great. The amount of content, the wide range of type of content is excellent... they even have a music video channel. The only thing I don't like is that after paying you can not see the premium indicator and you will not see what content is premium or free. Without that indicator you could probably miss to enjoy the premium content that you are actually paying. Maybe you will be a month mostly watching free content, but paying thanks to that. They should allow the users know that information even after paying. The workaround is to logoff, and open the app without doing the sign-in. If there is another option I would like to know it. Great review.

Please consider changing the red border around your thumbnails for the videos. I sometimes skip over them thinking that it’s already been watched because the red border tricks me into thinking it’s the “red bar” for viewed video progress.

I joined because of the WWE Network merger but have been furious over constant live streaming issues during live PPV events. Also the lack of ability to pause and rewind live events is horrible if you want to go to the bathroom or are having technical difficulties.

As a cable cutter, it was way more than worth the $5 to watch the final gold medal woman’s hockey game, since we live in the US and could not have seen it several days post-match otherwise. There is one thing about Peacock on a Roku tv: when you’re watching a program and keep it on hold for a while, when you come back to it, it’s no longer in the continue watching section.

Signed up for the $4.99 plan have been pretty happy but there are a few issues. App is somewhat buggy, at least on Roku, I have used 3 different types of rokus and still have issues. On the channels they change the location, sometimes a specific channel is 3rd in line other times it is 8th or so. Doesnt sound like a big deal but when trying to find something at a specific time especially when still in morning fog, it is a pain. Another issue is playing the exact same episode of exact same show always on channels. for example on the sports channel they repeatedly play a specific golf show with the guy interviewing President Obama at the White House. Interesting to watch once or twice but every single week?? Cant there be something else of that golf show or a different show?

Don’t like how they start to stream episodes of a series and lead you into what you think are free, only to cut you off mid episode, and show a feather which means you have to pay to finish the episode, let alone pay for what you were getting for free the day before. Rip off!! IMHO

Premium has ads. Premium Plus is the one with no ads -- with a few exceptions. It's all in the very fine print.

Some observations- 1- This is the absolute slowest streaming app by far. 2- More and more content is on a premium tier. Of all the new movies for October about 98% are premium only. 3- Here’s my biggest beef. They sent me emails the last 2 months with an offer for a year at $49. ($1.99 per month) However they don’t mention that they don’t accept practically every debit card out there. They accept paypal but transferring cash is a royal pain and not worth the hassle. I use Paypal for eBay but I can’t transfer money from my debit card to my PayPal account. I’ll probably just renew monthly in January when I get my nice bump to my SSI benefits.

Yeah if it's an NBC network show, they have the first year on Peacock but also on the NBC app. Some shows that are no longer airing new episodes there are more than the first season.

Bad experience with Hulu... When commericals come on the screen minimizes the shows so the shows still stream in real time while commercials are showing than when the commercials are done you lose a good portion of the shows

One additional thing I really like about Peacock is that I can go backwards and forwards easily in a video by just using my Comcast remote control backwards and forwards keys. I don't have to hit the up arrow key and then click on the forward or backward icon built into the Peacock software as I do with most other streaming apps. I have no way to know if this also works for subscribers of other cable companies I also like having separate profiles for each member of the family. Plus Peacock is one of the few places to stream "The Office" TV series which is very underrated. Now if I could find LMN network in a streaming app my spouse might let me cut the cable chord WRZ 2022-12-25

Peacock TV is a hot skip. The service does not work on Linux, which means I cannot watch it on my Steam Deck. And it does not work on my Nvidia Shield through HDMI. Then I tried to cast from my phone to my TV. This didn't work either.

I’m not certain because I always pay directly with providers but have you tried entering your same Peacock username and password on the other platforms? That should work. You are already paying and have access to the service across all devices with your membership.

If possible, I always join using my Ruko account because they make it easy when, I am ready to cancel my account to a streaming service. Use your E-mail address as your user name and then type in your password. Afterward, you should be good to go when logging on to use your account with other devices.
