One more point I would like to add for the aspirants/ students is try not to fake anything in the interview process..be it personality or anything..know that the judging panel knows more than you think..so just relax n try to be honest ...n thanks saket for summing everything up so well 👍👍😇

In the BDes DAT Mains Admit Card for 2022 there is a line in the instructions that states - "There is no interview. Candidates are not required to carry their portfolio to the test centre." Does this mean that the studio test will only be a skill based test or will there be some interaction/discussion component too? Could explain what exactly to expect on the exam day?

Hey @Ayaan, This time they have changed the format completely. What I understand is there is no interview and portfolio requirement. However, my guess is that they will try to check that part in the Studio Test itself. Be prepared for surprises, as this hasn't happened before. I recommend you to hone up your DAT skills and prepare basic interview questions in case they decide to have some interaction. I hope this suggestion will help. My best wishes to you!!!

Hello sir, I am giving the bdes studio test at the end of this month. I just had a doubt regarding whether you center choice has an effect your grading. I've heard people advice against choosing a PG centre for BDes. Is it true?

Honestly, this is a very recent development. Ideally there shouldn't be any bias but I can't say anything for sure. Who told you this bdw??

Yeah, but it is subjective sometimes. I think during COViD they didn't ask for it, but they ask for it most of the time.. so staying prepared is better

It changes every now and then. So Not sure! Make sure you read the instructions on the invitation you will receive.. Have you received the Studio test invite?

Hi Vina.. You can request to talk in Hindi.. Nobody judge for not being comfortable in English... Be comfortable and confident in Hindi.. and you should be fine 😉💯
