You could see that Trossard really wanted to score when he came on. Martinelli getting defenders tired before Trossard comes on is a great strategy. But Martinelli needs to start producing, he is a weak link.

Great team performance, Timber and Saliba were superb throughout the game regardless of the goals. Kiwior had a good performance in the absence of Gabi and Zinchenko was solid too and didn't make any trademark mistakes, fortunately. Only negative was again Martinelli who needs to be replaced

Chelsea are in the most advantageous position in that they have nothing to lose, because there are no expectations on them like there are on Liverpool & Arsenal especially!! This will make Chelsea a particularly dangerous entity, because they can play with full freedom - knowing that they have top quality talent in pretty much every position, and no exceptionally demanding Champions League campaign to seriously tax them! All of these points notwithstanding however, the fact that they are a very young Team > Squad >> with precious no experience of winning anything (like us in 2022/23) is the one KEY factor which ultimately makes them only Dark Horse outsiders for The Title in my honest & humble opinion! A Top 4 finish & The Europa Conference League Trophy are what I see them achieving at the end of this season!
