Just face it mate, gyokores isn't as good as you think he is, yes he was isolated and that's not just because of Gabriel and saliba, that's because of arteta stretching the pitch making it difficult for the midfielders to combine with gyokores, for a club like ours that mostly plays against low blocks, gyokores wouldn't suit us, because he's rigid in his approach and if we do sign him his numbers would reduce massively

Saliba is now so good he doesn’t often need to make the tackle or even touch the ball. His positioning is uncanny and how he persuades strikers to head for the corner flag is serious voodoo. Gabriel/Saliba is the classic fire and ice defensive combo.

I can’t think of a club in Europe that Saka wouldn’t start at RW for with maybe the exception of Liverpool or Barcelona and that’s because of who Salah and Yamal are to their clubs. The consistency and all round game is elite level, you actually forget how young he is. Special shoutout to Nwaneri, he came on and again looked like he belonged. The close control, burst of pace, technical ability and zero fear is something else

What I understand about these 2 CBs (and most pairings)...when one is new, the others constance and stability is overlooked and as soon as the constant one goes to a new level, the new guy gets stable and constant. @bhavss14 my thinking is that during the absence of the captain martin arsenal had to use dynamic football style so drifting away from the right hand football we play normally making other teams underestimate the right side now that martin is back he his now showing them why arsenal right side is the most dangerous Buh I have a feeling that arteta should also make some tactical play to the left side so we would always confuse opponents whether it right or left we playing saka or martinelli makeinf the chances so when the right is chocked easy fluidity will move on the left

despoite being pocketed 3\4 of the game,his engine was still pumping,there's this one scenario on the 80+ minute bursting on the LW and saliba could not keep up,we suffer alot sometimes against man city mostly,having such a profile like gyokores able to keep his engine running for 90 min is the profile we want im sure if he was the one with that trossard's chance last season vs city and against sporting the last counter of the game yesterday,he would have scored.i think we should get him plus he has a good fitness record unlike isak
