5 things we need to stop doing as parents to instil good eating habits in our kids:
1. Stop speaking about food & eating to our kids every 10-30 minutes. Create a good schedule for meals, keeping a gap of 3-4 hours.
2. Stop Force feeding & making meal time unpleasant. The more sad they become after every meal, the more fussy they are going to get.
3. Stop Scolding, comparing, talking negatively about not eating well and its consequences. It just makes them unhappy & uncomfortable that they will soon start disliking food
4. Stop eating your own food in a hurry & as a task. Just take a deep breath, relax, enjoy your meal first. Just looking at you genuinely enjoy & relish, kids will come to try.
5. Stop underestimating their intuition for food. Kids are extremely intelligent & intuitive. They know exactly how much & what to eat. Just trust them & encourage them to try new foods. But dont force
