@@Blackdog4818 that's where the electronic brake works nicely. No exposed cam arm to corrode and lock up. I still think the best parking brake is a separate mechanism on the drum side, those were pretty reliable.

This video was great because I had no idea what the button on the rear view mirror was for. I knew that the 3 buttons where for the garage but I had no idea what the power button was for.. I thought it was just to turn the 3 buttons off for the garage but it made no sense to me now I know it was for the tint on the mirror when there is a car behind you it tints the light so you can see the car behind you better.. thank you for this it truly helped me.. CAUTION: Don't put loose coins in the well in front of the parking brake release button. I had a dime wedge in and couldn't release the parking break until I got the dime out. Little scary as I was stuck in traffic.

HondaPro Jason , well if a journalist says it it must be true. They really did a bang-up job with their predictions for the 2016 election. I'll keep my 2016, 6 speed, 3.5 liter V-6 coupe, if it's all the same. Bought it new and I like everything about it except the payments. My 2004 Tacoma looks new. I bought it new in 2004. It has 106,000 miles on it. Never had any problems, with the exception of replacing the oxygen sensor, just routine maintenance. It has been a great 4x4. Toyota's are great, and it's paid for!

I would like to consider a 2018 Accord LX, but between a 1.5T engine that has issues with oil dilution and a CVT that is weak, I’ll have to pass. Toyotas are more reliable and have better engineering. Yeah, the Accord looks and handles better, but a vehicle that lasts is more important.

Wow really well produced video! My two cents: I've had several cars with auto dimming rearview, and it never works well enough, and the worst is they don't come with the manual adj. Thankful my 2018 Sport does NOT have auto-dim and has the manual adjustment.

I got a Honda Accord Sport a month ago. Love it. Weird thing thing - An error message comes up now and then "no GPS Signal", but I don't have a GPS menu option? What is up with that? And I got a message asking if I want Honda to track me with GPS. According to the manual, if it's GPS equipped I should have a GPS menu option. Finally, how do you get the dome light to tune on when you open the door??? I can get them to turn on, push the light.

Baylor58 Duncan All you have to do is pull the button the cars parking break on, that process is only for if you want it to automatically turn on after you get out. And the trunk thing is only if all power to the car is gone, there’s still a button on the trunk itself to open it.

5 things you didn't know about Honda accord 1. You have to service it every 5,000-10,000 miles. Power train warranty only 100,000 miles 2. No charging port, and valet mode. 3. Can't use app to start car or change the temperature inside car. 4. Come with 3,000 engine error codes which can occurs anytime without solutions to solve by user. 5. No update via WiFi. p.s. good video.. I like these new features, don't get me wrong. But why Honda don't do EV yet?

Hi Jason, is there a trick to avoid infotainment to reboot when switching to ignition ? For example, I'm driving with my music and google maps on, then I stop on a traffic red light, put in neutral then push the start/stop button to stop motor, finally traffic light gets green and I push the start/stop to switch ignition buuut my music stops and infotainment reboot. Is there a way to avoid that reboot?

CastrejonHDTV and the 2.0 has more torque. The horsepower doesn't help. The Accord is quicker off the line and faster in the quarter. You seem to have a lack of understanding with regards to horsepower versus torque. Do a little research.

Like, can I activate that feature one time, never think about it again, and have my parking brake engage when i stop the car and disengage when I get in to drive again? My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was the VM of the case manager for weeks on end. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...

You need to make a youtube video about the HUD in relation to navigation. I heard that only Hondas built in navigation system can project on the HUD and that ACP and AA navigation cant show up on the HUD. Is this true? I cant find the answer and no one in youtube have addressed this issue...

Jason, what if hypothetically I have the manual accord, parked on a hill, not in gear, and let’s say I left the interior lights on the whole night and then the battery dies. since the parking brake is electronic and loses power when the battery died, won’t the car then roll downhill? It will just stay ON because its a motor who pulled it and it stay like that when no electricity, even if you parked it 6 months it does not take electricity to maintain it. And probably it have a feature to turn off lights after a certain period of time could be a good question too
