I grew up on a dairy farm and when a cow died in the barn, it was quite a tight fit to get a scidsteer in there, so I used the Ventrac to pull them out to where we could get to them with the scidsteer. There were some cows that were to heavy, but not many.

Great Tractor. Here's an attachment they need to make. Given the tractor's low center of gravity and excellent slope skills...build a front powered scythe blade (hedge trimmer type) that is low to ground, adjustable, and off center. This would enable me to cut around my ponds edge as low as needed for a nice clean look.
@tazmankb263 жыл бұрын
They make one that can also angle up and tree hedges and well as oscillate out and over at an angle and get reed grass along ponds.

Ventrac always looked it it was built by the people that make the plane moving tractors at airports. Not saying that is a bad thing...just the format and profile of the vehicle looks like it would look at home tugging a regional jet around the corner.

I like the Ventrac tractor because it hand operated, I can't drive a normal tractor, but that 30k to 40k price I can't afford that, so sad every time I see a Ventrac video, but happy for though who can afford it, there a great tractor...
@Toolsinaction8 жыл бұрын
You can get the for way less than 30K they have all kinds of different configurations. it will last you a life time
@sparky02888 жыл бұрын
Your right the tractor don't cost that much, but you start adding lights, bucket, hitch, weights, mower, taxes, it adds up quick, so if you just buy tractor and nothing else too ride around, under 30k yes, dealer in my area quoted me a price of 34,900 then after I test drove the tractor he said "this tractor don't look right for me" and would not sell me even if I had the money...Not saying Ventrac bad, just say dealer is, and costs little high for the common man....

Rays Place: Since I am several hours away from a Ventrac Dealer in Oregon, it would be great if you would publish or announce the prices on your site. I won't drive about 6 hrours to hear a price that may be out of my price range. I will probably buy from a local dealer and that's a 54 mile trek. You could be losing customers like me. Maybe your not advertising your price's because they will drive customers away before seeing the machine. Looking at the videos they look like they are great, so why hold back on the price's? Thank You.
@tazmankb263 жыл бұрын
comparable to sub compact but much more versatile, comfortable, safer and won't rut yards. The attachments can be pricey. 28 to 30k will get you a tractor and a couple of attachments. I've made a few things for mine on the cheap that work out great for what I needed it for.

Chuck and Steve...bought my 4500z a year ago...you have to figure that the tractor is all wheel drive and 32.5 horse. I have duals, a 60 inch mower and a 54 inch snowblower.. total cost is about 32000. A little costly, maybe, but there is nowhere I can't go mowing and I mow over 5 acres. I snowblow 2 500ft driveways plus a couple neighbors also. I've pulled the bushes and I have a trailer also. I also have a pull behind 60 inch mower that I hardly know I'm pulling when mowing. The nice part is it takes less than 2 minutes to hook up any attachment. Believe me I'm a John Deere man but could not find anything that could match up pricewise and durability and ease of use than this ventrac.
