The developers proved with this LiS 1, that they can create awesome storys. So if you loved the first game, you have to play LiS 2, too. Hey, around the 4 minute mark there's a small error here. Stealing from the car is 2 points, each grocery item stolen from the store is 1 point, and stealing the camping supplies is 3 points. You need at least 3 points in total for Daniel to steal the hula girl from Brody, so that means it IS possible to steal from the car and not have Daniel steal from Brody. Other than that, great video. I like how you showed the casuals and semi-casuals some of the impacts that Captain Spirit had on LiS2e2, like Daniel making those Darth Vader noises.

A Cat With A Bongo I don't recall the original source. I think it was someone on Reddit back around November, but I could be wrong. But I verified it myself by playing through the episode. I also worked out myself the formula for how much money you start ep2 with. I streamed a lot of this on Twitch (to an audience of usually 0-2 viewers). I haven't figured out the exact power encouragement/discouragement formula yet, but I plan to get back to it at some point.

On a related note, I did (almost a year ago now) eventually think I worked out the Power Encouragement formula, but then several months ago a streamer proved my formula wrong (after it had correctly predicted the ending for many many many other playthroughs), so I must have missed a tiny variable somewhere. I haven't played the game in awhile, but maybe one day I'll figure out what I missed.

Just finished this game and I’m absolutely gutted and floored with how amazing and emotional it was. Immediately working on a second and third playthrough. This game was so incredibly true to life in so many scenes and relationships. Karen was oddly enough one of my favorite characters, because her thinking is so atypical and she loves her kids, but at a distance, and that distance slowly begins to close near the end. She’s a true lone wolf, for reasons that very few people in this world might understand. It’s not a familial relationship I’ve ever seen portrayed in a game before, much less in film or any other media. Her last line as they leave Away where she says “this is hard” and you can tell she’s about to cry really struck me, because she was finally able to get closer with them and at last felt that gravity. What happens with Sean and Daniel as Mexican-Americans and their relationship dynamic too was so believable and real. Brody was amazing, I wish we’d seen more of him. Also loved the character of Jacob. Not much is said about Christian cults these days, but they definitely exist, and his situation sounded similar to a lot of ex-Mormons I’ve met. And of course, you’ve gotta love the hippie family they find. This game made me want to take my own road trip and visit places like Arizona and Humboldt County. Bravo on Dontnod for being such an amazing production team who does their research on every facet of their stories, as well as listens to fan feedback (without introducing any suggestions that would harm their narratives). You are all amazing, and these games will be close to my heart forever 💚 I hope we get a Life Is Strange 3! 🙏

Rafael Goldstein has the best voice acting in the whole game which is sad since he is barely in it, you could also miss his scenes entirely from the game so far, apart from his scene in Captain Spirit as Mantroid. Amador, Nick, Mei and Kiara carry the game in voice acting, and all are minor characters in the grand scheme of things. Give these guys more spotlight!

Kids are very impressionable by the people around their lives which is the case for Sean in showing his knowledge towards Daniel. I thought that was a realistic element that the Life is Strange team has done to make them feel more real than fiction.

Life is strange characters resonate so much with me. In Hight school, I had a friend that was just like Chloe, breaking rules, making me her sidekick to all her rebellious plans, and a friend like Kate, from a religious family and just so nice and sweet to everyone. I had basically the same personality as Max when I was a teen (awkward, wanna-friends-with-everyone but bitch about cool kids). I understand Chloe and Daniel so much as I lost my Father when I was three (suicide), I used to be mad at the whole world (Chloe) and snoop around the house to find pictures of him (Daniel). I understand Sean's anger toward his mother for leaving them, I understand his reticence toward his grand-parents’ help and care as mine abandoned me after the death of my father (I might have snapped at the Reynolds a few times when they would mention Esteban oups...) After my father's death, my half-brothers went to live with their mom, who would do everything to keep us apart, so as a kid I always dreamed of having a baby brother that would stay with me. Life is strange 2 is a bit like a simulation of that dream for me. I love taking care of Daniel, teasing him, playing with him, teaching him stuff and protecting him. I love the brothers’ relation. Thank you so much for that game!

I think the thing I'm enjoying most about this game so far is that, whereas in LIS1 I was very sure about my decisions and therefore didn't want to change anything, I'm more unsure in LIS2. I haven't called Lyla once and am worrying about what impact that'll have, I was super strict on Daniel about using his powers which led to a horrible ending in episode 2. I'm only halfway in and I'm already wanting to go back and play it again to see what happens if I do things differently.

Seeing multiple endings rather than only 2 would be really great. Even a cool secret ending that only happens with a variety of things you do. Thatd be a cool aspect. Im not really looking forward to going to mexico in the game and im not quite sure. Id really love to have sean at least have some form of abilitys. I am excpecting he will develop some because of the short smoking break scene where he tries to use power he doesnt have. You guys are amazing and the game is really great. Maybe even adding in some of your subscribers as backround or interactive players would be great as well. Even a little minigame in the menu would be cool❤

Hi and thanks for this honest insight into the thoughts of the "Life Is Strange" creators. In return, I'd like to turn the favor around and give insights into the thoughts of a Life Is Strange 1 fan and Life Is Strange 2 player. First, I have to say that I have not missed any of the 5 things. ;) These were quite obvious. :) I also like that you follow the discussions about the game and want to involve the community in the further progress. The problem is, that I have so far (in extreme contrast to the first part) no need to exchange on the game for hours. In addition, I have not seen a single let's play on KZbin and have had enormous difficulties, to play the episodes a second time (In LIS1 it was probably a total of 40 hours (after Ep.2), which I have spent with the game in different ways. Now it's just 13). Of course, I wonder why that is. And I think I got it. Apart from the fact that I am highly annoyed by children in games, I just lack the special about this game so far. And I think I collide with the intentions of the developers. The concept of building the game on small decisions and the fact that the player has only indirect influence on the superpower, is problematic for me. The targeted educational measures of the developers are just too clumsy, too slow and too boring for my taste. I've already understood that depending on game choices, a superhero or a supervillain is born, but this "tension" is barely enough to keep me busy until next February / March. It also bothers me that the (almost) only interesting character (Lyla) is abused for what you call "the sould of silence". She really deserves a lot more than being a marginal phenomenon. Do not get me wrong, Episode 2 has somewhat eased Ep.1's big disappointment, the atmosphere was good, but it still lacks the drama and depth of the first game. I know it should be dramatic what might have happened to Chris - but unfortunately it did not really touched me as it was intended. My hopes for the future episodes: - definitely NO reunion with the mother (way to clichee and predictable) - more extraordinary ideas, a more subtle handling of the down-to-earth complex of problems - deep integration of Lyla into the actual events (as soon as possible) - more wtf-moments which LIS1 delivered in every episode So far for now...

I did nothing for a week except play this game till the end, only forcing myself to take breaks because I didn’t want the game to end 😅😅 ...After I finished (I was gutted when I finished it😞), I quickly bought the 1st Life Is Strange game as well as the Before The Storm one, but nothing compares to #2, especially if you played that first.... I have been gaming practically all of my life and Life is Strange still remains my favorite series. I do hope something will be addressed in upcoming episodes. Spoiler alert! For me, episode two ended with Chris being hit by the car as Daniel kept his powers hidden. This was in part a negative consequence from me telling Daniel to limit his use of powers after saving Chris when he fell. So, I hope my decision will pay off in a future event and that those who didn't limit Daniel's power usage will then feel a negative consequence. Oh, and more feedback? You guys are doing great. The game has been beautiful, interesting, and definitely worth the money and wait time. True fans will always support you. Thank you for such a wonderful game.

Episode 3 might be the turning point where i finally start to feel Season 2 because so far that wasn't really the case. I have a feeling that it might pick up the pacing and will positively surprise me, also we are going to see Cassidy again and get to interact with the group, there might even be a more interesting ending with the brothers possibly being separated so i think i am finally somewhat hyped and hope we will see some screenshots or the keyart soon.

I really can't wait for episode 3. Very glad I bought the complete season, it's worth the price. It's amazing how much Dontnod listens to the feedback from fans. It is an attitude more studios need very much. So far, I'm really into Lyla (who, I've heard, is also a fan favourite), Cassidy and of course Sean and Daniel. I love all the characters, but these are my favourites. Hope we will get another chance to talk to Lyla in episode 3. Maybe Brody as well at some point? And hoping for confirmation about Chris's fate. Really curious if he died or simply got hurt. Also, anyone else wondering where the powers come from? Like Max's powers and Daniel's? I'm really curious about Cassidy, but I'm afraid to get too attached to her. I think killing Mushroom was a mistake, it sent the message that the side characters are disposable, and I think this will hurt the game going forward. One of the best things about season 1 and Before the Storm was that the side characters fleshed out over several episodes, but I'm afraid in this game only Sean and Daniel will return for each episode.
