Another important step is priming your stampers. For the rubberized ones, a magic eraser sponge works well. Clear stampers only need a hand wash with dish soap. They pick up much better after that. The best advice I got when learning to stamp is to stamp over a quick dry top coat. That way you can quickly erase any mistakes with scotch tape. 💅💅

acrylic paint can be a good alternative for stamping polish. you don't have to rush, and it is much more cheaper. also if you mess up, it can come off with water, easier clean up for the stamping plate as well. but a top coat is need, or else it will come off when it meets. water.

Hi, Just wanted to say that some companies put clear film over their plates instead of blue- which can be confusing! :) Also I've noticed in my nail art group sometimes the clear stampers can be very hard to work with, even from reputable companies- they often need messing with to get them to work! Cleaning with dish soap and air drying can help, cleaning with a lint roller, and if all else fails I actually buffed two of mine because a slightly cloudy stamper was better than not being able to stamp at all! Oh, and while some topcoats will smear no matter what you do, most topcoats work ok if you carefully float the polish (brush lightly so the brush never makes contact with your nails, using the brush to spread the polish from the surface without dragging it through) and if you're brushing too hard or going over the same spot over again you will smudge no matter what you use- if you miss a tiny spot or it's not quite even, don't go over and over it again- let it dry and then take a little more time with a second top coat to even it all out

Seche Vite is is good for nail art and stamping, doesn't smudge unless you don't have enough on the brush and it lasts forever. Though it gets really thick and goopy when you're halfway through the bottle and it has an intense chemical/nail polish-y scent (like cheap a nail salon.) I've heard great thing about HK girl's top coat, though it's pretty expensive. I'm currently using Super Chic Lacquer's Macro Top Coat and it's my favorite. If you buy the big refill bottle it's cheap and that fills about 7-ish bottles. So IMO Super Chic Laquer's top coat > everything else.

I used to stamp onto a silicone mat so I could make decals and be sure my design stamped correctly before going full monty into it. There were a lot of times where I messed up a stamp and had to remove the polish and start again. Now I've gotten pretty good but I still like to make the decals with reverse stamping. Got some horror themed stamps with tons of coloring possibilities.

About the topcoat, can't you just Wait like, A REALLY long time, When it completly Dries by then, than use your topcoat? because I only have 1 top coat; -;

While that seems to help, not all p coats are the same. Some will give you those *wonderful* streaks. It helps if you don't apply a lot of pressure to the brush while brushing on the top coat as well. You want the polish to touch the nail but NOT the brush to touch the nail... if that makes sense.

My top coat smears some of the nail polishes I have and I don't have the luxury to go out and buy a lot of different ones so I know the feel, what I do is to get your brush loaded with it (more than you'd normally use) and try to just move that polish without touching the one underneath by not applying pressure.

all i can say for you to do is wait until it's completely dry, then use a big glob of topcoat so that the brush won't touch your nail, just the topcoat.
