Really good tip for beginners: Most polishes aren't opaque in one coat. Unless the polish is very pigmented, do multiple thin coats waiting in between until opaque. If you try blobbing on one thick coat til it's opaque, it might look nice, but you might find it will literally never dry completely and still be soft after a day of wear. Be patient and do multiple thin coats!
