Edgar Wright has a very different and unique style of direction I seriously don't know what Peyton Reed brings to the table that Marvel are letting him direct a superhero trilogy, a record held only by established genius and creative directors ( Sam Raimi, Christopher Nolan, James Gunn) To be frank, guys on You Tube have better ideas for Antman and wasp 2 than Peyton Reed..... And as I eventually assumed, both Antman movies are just palette cleanser after that big superhero crossover movie. ( Age of Ultron, Infinity War...)

MCU hires indie filmmakers on a condition that they have to direct the movie without doing anything new and it will be helpful for the future project. The problem is the studio who works for creative such as A24 or Martin Scorsese, they don't consider them, because MCU movies are very mediocre and they have nothing new to provide. I hate MCU after knowing what they have to Edgar Wright. He is one of my director working today. Thank god he was fired from MCU and we have got gem like Baby Driver. Really waiting for his next Last night in Soho which is an horror movie set in 60's.

@@dramolighe8252 i'm not judging anyone for any movie. I'm just a movie lover not a marvel or dc fan type guy. I watched Avenger1 ,2 because of infinity war(best marvel movie) . Avemger 1 felt completely blunt , no artistic style, not a single enjoyble moment except hulk scenes. Worst Avenger movie period.

@@lucifermorningstar7723 Now I realized why you hated it because I have seen Phase 1 and then Avengers so I have understand characters whereas Infinity war is nearly perfect . I think you should watch Avengers after Phase 1 of MCU you will love it.
