Still one of the best Hardstyle tutorials out there in 2022. First tip is honestly hard to adapt to at first, but game-changing when you make it a habit! Love your shizz as always, Alex 🖤🙏🏻

awesome video with tons of great advice!! there's a lot of people on internet forums saying shit like "slapping a limiter on the master track isn't mastering, it's got to be this esoteric mysterious process that you have to learn over years" which yeah is maybe true for full time mastering engineers, but for hard dance producers who want our masters to be at commercial loudness, this is perfect. Thanks for cutting through the bullshit and helping producers get on with our lives, Alex

One of your best videos. I feel like every other tutorial channel is like “sound like Headhunterz in 5 min” and people then wondering why their shit sucks. Always happier to be frustrated with the truth instead of comforted with a lie :P

Very smart approach you have! I am not an Ableton user but this translates into different DAW if the producer knows the workstation in and out! Thanks for this!

Another question, can you tell me what is your demonstration track’s kick from your sound packs? I all ready purchased your Rawstyle kick Vol.1.2, and Hardcore, Hardstyle kick. Thank you so much!
@generalguyble3 жыл бұрын
for the Kick packs I only use the kicks inside without any processing at all (except of mastering the demo of course).

@@generalguyble dude i have a question, when i make kicks and whenever i want to put a lowcut during the arangement on it with a autofilter or a eq8, as soon as i activate it, it changes the sound of the whole kick, i put it of course at the end of the chain so in my head iam just cutting out the frequenzies below 30hz which is "not hearable", but it seems it is.... is it because i dont use a linear phase eq? i had the same problem with techno kick drums but on techno i didnt mind about that bcs the changes were slightly and maybe even cool, but on hardcore kicks it changes alot
