I like recreating kicks to understand how they are made

Thank you for your answers(and translating my question=)) Yes, found interesting your thougts about playing with the tails. Usually I made loops to realise how kick will be sound in track, cause one shot sounds good, but when it in the loop it sometimes doesnt sound in proper way. Also thanks for your answers about the transients on stream. Спасибо! Danke! Thanks!

I have to say learning to recreate some kicks from scratch would provide some inside on what people have already done and might provide some inside on how to create something different by combining methodes that were used to create these kicks

I would say that recreating kicks has a learning value just to experiment and also learning how it's all done and learning how to use whatever synth that you have. You may not own the kicks personally but you do own the recreation of it. Plus, there's nothing wrong with using some sample packs if you're after for a particular sound. Samething with using presets too

The thing with remaking kicks is, that maybe you cant get that kick other way. Not every producer sells sample packs and not everyone makes tracks that you can rip kicks from (no part with kick only). I mean at the end of the day im not really trying to be super unique in music, i just wanna make something that i like, even if it sounds like a different artist. And if i like a certain kick and i wanna use it, im just gonna remake it because as i said, you cant always rip it or buy it (also i dont wanna spend money on samples when i can just make them myself). Also as other people said, remaking kicks is a great way to learn.

I believe there is a wide spectrum if people that recreate kicks. For dudes that just want to sound like someone else to people that recreate the soely to understand how they work. I don't see a problem in recreating a kicks and then takeing out eg just the punch or tail. That said I was always curious how Ophidian makes kicks like in 2022 defqon anthem for silver stage. Would love to recreate it just to get the feeling of how they are made.

frenchcore / hardcore radium kick attack hacked / ripped by all, if it sounds cool why don't use it ))) finally he has released a soundpack and a lot of us can sleep in peace now hahahaha)) btw hip-hop / soul/ rnb are made by sampling, are more famous genres in the world. counts good combos in arrangement and sound design/mixing nothing else, all good music is already made, we listen just another so well made combos. in hardcore what is there something new? i listen same screeches, same melodies, same vocals and same kicks variations years and years, and i still love hardcore^^

GG people like starting with stupid requests or "hi" simply wants to speak to somebody, in case of people who makes video or music, could be they want simply speak to a person they like so much, i know is boring as fuck, mostly when u are busy in something but there are this kind of people. it's like in groups of photoshop, people asks totally bullshits example - how to manage brightness/contrast of a photo, i mean they know, they can search on utube, google etc, but they simply wanna speak to somebody))) try 2 understand'em don;t be angry ahahahah))

I stopped making kicks ages ago, because it was boring and tedious. I buy sample packs now, and use them. If that's lame and lazy , then whoever thinks it is, can kiss my Welsh arse. The packs with toks and tails are perfect you can chop and change. If you wanna spend your days making kicks, why bother. Get making tracks, they all start sounding the same anyway. Be original in creativity for tracks not the components. People over analyzing this shit boil my piss.

I agree, at the end of the day if you make kicks or recreate them, it is still music production.
