Quick question! I'm helping my girlfriend try to figure out some pricing for a set of dresses she has. Problem though! One doesn't have any tags or identifying marks of any kind. It does however have metal zippers on one side, so we know it's pre-63. We're thinking this might be a homemade piece, but we're really not sure. Any thoughts? Thanks!

It's classified as anything 20 years or older so it starts at 1999 :)

The difference in vintage sizing compared to today's is why people wrongly put Marilyn Monroe as a "plus size" figurehead. Yes, she was a size 14 in the 60s, but she had a 27-28" waist!! Not Plus Size, she would not be next to me at Torrid thumbing through the rack. Yes the 90s is considered vintage and that's when clothing started being mass produced in China :)

Is i.e. the brand tag? I would say 90s because mass manufacturing in China began in the early 90s 😊
