Love this video, I started on Etsy with vintage items and last year added a Poshmark closet. So I’m loving your content❣️also you probably already know this but I just recently discovered, to help us market our Etsy listings, I discovered under marketing on social media, Etsy will send your new listings to Facebook, IG, Pinterest and Twitter. It’s so easy, they assemble the pictures, and the message. It’s made going social so much easier. Thanks again and keep em coming😊

I have had an Etsy shop for my crafted items for awhile but just started adding vintage items. My shop name works for both: Trashkateer Treasures. I love the idea of saving something from getting trashed and most of my crafts are upcycled in some way.

Christina - I think antique is considered 50 or older (unless they recently changed it)

Island Chick it all depends on the dealer but a lot of older antique dealers say 100 years or older but yes a lot of newer dealers say 50 years or older www.antique-hq.com/the-difference-between-antique-vintage-and-collectible-item-127/

50 years would make things from 1969 antique so I guess that’s why most antique dealers go by the 100 year rule

Island Chick - What Christina said is true. When I started selling vintage in the late 70s the industry standard was 50 years vintage, 100 years antique. Somewhere along the way this changed to 20 years vintage, 100 antique. Want to say this happened maybe 20 years ago? I had my flea mkt booth in the early to mid-90s, shop 96-06 & somewhere before I closed it had changed. Hmm maybe Etsy was the reason? Jet🧡🎸🎶⚡️

i dont recommend etsy because they can suspend your account in on day without any answer ive lost finaly 70 euro in it by sending item that been receive by cosumer and voila ,be carfullllll
