There was a time when I did a few cross countries and stayed at very cheap hostels. Most of them have kitchens and bathrooms and washing machines. It's also a good place to get over one's social shyness.

Make sure you lock everything up. I had a lot of stuff stolen at at hostel. They even broke into my truck and stole tools, poured bleach all over my uniforms, it was pretty bad.

For my trip across Italy we found these collapsible reusable water bottles. Italy has a ton of free fountains so I can fill up the bottle, drink, take it with me, whatever, but it folds down to like 1/4 it's size when not in use and space is limited. Hope this helps someone out there. Great list man.

Essentials on the road , less expenses more travel time. For the BMW shaft, getting another 2 years warranty after the original agreement is a wise decision. A must when traveling mainland. When on international soil, have your bike check all around those engine sections for wear. Save ride.

Free Camping in Great Britain is really only wild camping in Scotland or Stealth camping in England and Wales. Sometimes a friendly landowner will let you camp on their land the night but the rest of the time its pay for camping sites. 🏕️
