That depends on where the business is registered (the country, state, city, etc.), but generally speaking there aren't any licensure or insurance requirements.

I am currently an online English teacher(freelancing ) and I'm currently pursing my degree in Education but I needed some clarity with regards to starting an online business ,is it necessary to have a degree before you can build your business or can you do it without a degree .Please kindly advise .Thank you !

Hey, I'm just getting through my backlog of emails, FB messages, YT comments, etc. If you are already teaching freelance, there's no problem with starting a business. The degree typically comes in when you're trying to get hired into an organization. When you start your own business, you answer to the client and if you provide value then they're not going to care what letters are after your name.
