These 5 tips that I am sharing with you came from my personal experience from my time at BMT. These can help you think ahead and prepare. I hope you all can take away and remember these tips when you're at BMT.

As a retired AF SF MSgt, my advise is this... do what your told, when your supposed to do it. Stay off the radar. Don't tolerate high-school drama, gangsta attitudes, princess mentalities your team will suffer eventually. Not everyone puts on their big boy/girl pants on for BMT. As a war vet, these same traits will deploy with them later and then your life maybe on the line.

We called that area where MTI'S would sit the snake pit and trainees would get destroyed in the chow hall walking by that area.

This type of behavior isn’t tolerated at all here. If you’re caught saying shit like this you probably shouldn’t even join. If you do and are recognized as someone who behaves this way, you can and will absolutely be reported. Be a decent person.

@@alanshearer3682 there’s no such thing as “too many.” There’s a number of them. There’s white people, there’s black, there’s gay, bi, straight, etc. there’s not “too many” of anyone. So I’ll go back to my original point. This behavior is not tolerated and frankly is extremely ugly on anyone. If you think that it’s possible for there to be “too many” of a type of person who has no control over how they are oriented or how they look then don’t join. Simple as that
