Grinding is mire difficult and less rewarding now since Downgrade 6.0. Good advice for new players but if they have zero silver consumables are to expensive. Cheaper to die quickly and move onto the next game, they will make more silver and hopefully learn from their in game errors.without a good training system with some basic silver and XP rewards new players will struggle.

Great video and very helpful after I repeated a few sections several time . Most all my complaints here are either my own fault due to poor knowledge or terrible hearing , and thats where I wanted to offer a suggestion . When your on sections like perks move through the perks from left to right and then down to the next row . Now at this point I should know my perks better , but if I was brand knew to the game like I was a short time ago it was a little hard to follow the perk section of the video because of the bouncing around with the perk menu . This might be stuff to add to the notes . You explained the why well , but if a person isn’t familiar with them then it can shoot over . I even had closed captions on due to poor hearing . Well as everyone knows Captions is kinda like voice text , you don’t always get what you said typed out . Again I want to say the video is great and helps fill in a lot of the blanks , but slowing down on the controller and being a bit more uniform in the movements would probably help the older. Crowd and hearing impaired follow along . I mean the better we teach the new players the less complaining we’ll probably have about bad teams .

Currently sitting at a 56% win rate. I think my main issue is that I don't do that great in clutch scenarios unless the people left aren't very good. I lose my smart plays and start playing bad and missing shots and so on. It's not a huge deal but can sometimes leave me feeling like I could have done so much more. Maybe it also doesn't help I like derp tanks a lot lol

i think perks are crucial. You got those first 3, then better acuracy, then better view. After that i go to mobility off road and rotation of the tank.

As far as most new player friendly lines go - you can't go wrong with American tanks, regardless of the class, they're all super user friendly and offer high skill ceilings so you can develop yourself as a player in them ALOT... Russians will also do nicely for learning how armor and sidescraping works but the switch to pike nosed tanks in tier 8 can be a tricky obstacle for some who don't have a good grasp on how geometry works. I'd largely avoid light and medium tanks in tiers 5 and higher until you learn the maps and positions, especially french, german, chinese etc. - they require very VERY good game knowledge overall to be used correctly. Tank destroyers vary, some are easier to play some harder but again I'd recommend you go with the Americans first as they offer the most versatile tanks throughout their TD lines. Stealthy, armored, quick, slow, turreted, non turreted, it's all there. And finally, one of the biggest tips I can give you is BE PREPARED to play with usually about 14 incomprehensibly bad players on your team and usually about at least half on the enemy team as well, which is why I personally wouldn't recommend playing ANY tank in the game tier 5 and above without equipment and good consumables. You will more often than not have to make up for several braindead players on your team and you'll need every tool in the box to do so. Finally, until you can maintain a solid 58-60% WR over a month (all time results will always be skewed thanks to your early learning experiences unless you re roll so the last month is usually a more accurate reading) AVOID Czechoslovakian, French, Chinese and Swedish tanks... especially the French... they usually carry 1 or 2 strong traits while having to compensate for at least 4 bad ones out of which 1 or 2 are usually horrible (usually aim time and reload). Also, map knowledge + positioning beats armor 9 times out of 10, for a good player even 10/10. Avoid autoloading tanks in general until you get a good grasp of maps and positioning. When you do start the mediums and lights, I'd again recommend Americans first because they don't have glaring weaknesses and they're largely all jacks of all trades which is a good place to start. Russian lights are extremely strong as well as mediums but require a very VERY good knowledge of what you can and can't do. Good luck.

Japanese heavy line and any of the Soviet heavy lines are very noob friendly. I have a friend who just started and he absolutely loves the Japanese heavies because it allows him to play the game like a noob (which he is) I recommend them for noobs who want to have fun and frustrate experienced players

I'm grinding down them rn tbh I would say they're more of a noob trap than noob friendly, I only play it because I understand angling very well and understand situations that I will inevitably lose in because of the pathetic speed of the super heavies

@@FriendlyneighbourhoodA the only “noob trap” part of the Japanese heavy line would be the O-I in a Tier 8 game, but that’s identical to all other Tier 6 tanks. The O-Ni, O-Ho, and the Type 4+5 are great. Also, once you get to the Type 4 and 5, you’re most likely used to angling and other unique skills for the Japanese line. So I would say that the Japanese heavy line is indeed very noob friendly, just not in an uptier game, which is the same for all low tier tanks.

In the early stages it's better to concentrate on building your silver than keeping tanks you'll probably rarely ever play. Dig one hole & dig it deep, as they say. Oh & if you have the credits, cold war mode is a great place to earn silver. If you don't have the credits, complete this season & you'll earn a juicy era 2 premium that should earn you heaps of silver

Giving the soviet heavy line to a new player would suck, the first thing they would learn is that armour is worthless and there’s no point playing something with no gun depression. That was my experience anyway. Those KVs are made of tin foil but ultimately you can never trust armour on anything aside from rare cases like the Maus.

IS4, 60TP, E100, Super Conc, and T110E5 are the easiest tanks to not suck in and learn the game. They are hard to pen even for good players and have good enough guns.

@@cloraformsgood5340 They are good lines and the easiest T10s to play once they get there. Biggest mistake new players make is going for specialized vehicles that require high knowledge of terrain, armor values, and strategy.

@@brasshound4442 yeah they are all good lines but these tanks need to be played by players with a solid knowledge of armour models aswell as game mechanics. From personal experience getting these tanks before being experienced leads to horrible losses and poor wrs. I personally think getting a good med as a first tier10 would be better and practice staying alive and farming from range. Front line heavies need to be reliable,played in position and a new player in those tanks is definitely not reliable and rarely knows where or how these tanks should be played which is probably why we see so many of these tanks camping .

The point I'm making is versus similar tanks, this tank still drags it feet. You can still reload a T57 twice in the time it takes to load all 3 shells of the Rhino, personally I think they should make the Rhino a 4 shot clip as that would give people more options in terms of play style as right now if you want to do well in the Rhino there is only a few ways of playing it to get the most out of it. It is has been more enjoyable to play for me albeit ever so slightly, you're still railroaded to play this tank a certain way even with the buffs.

You can transfer gold to silver but it is not worth it, you get barely any. For example, around 8k gold will get you 3m silver

You can work up to a tank line to get that tier 10 tank and wargaming nerf it to the point it's not worth playing anymore. If you become a victim of Wargamings player leveling system you can go on a 20 game straight loss, this will affect your win to loss stats and no matter what you do if they nerf you that win ratio will drop.

I don't recommend it, it's a biased game. When it favors you you kill everything you shoot at, dont worry about weak spots, and when not everything they shoot at you enters and they detect you from far, there is almost no fun.
