Alex, for smash, it also took me a long time to figure out (recently). All instructor/coaches miss this: when you swing, your face actually look away right at the smash (your sample is the same). By looking away (slightly to my left) instead of looking straight, my head is “out of the way”, which allow my right shoulder to swing forward in a smoother motion. See if you can reconfirm this and add it to the larger audience. It took me over 18 months of fixing to realize why my swing is always off. Hope it is a real help for a lot more people.

Alex I've got a question for you..When the opponent is about to hit a shot, what do I look at? The shuttle or the Racket?

The shuttle position give you info on where your base should be and the timing for the prep-step but I think the racket head is the area to watch because if you can spot it correctly you have info on the shuttle direction right before it is hit. At a high level pros keep the racket swing speed fast regardless of the type of shot for this reason. They creates deception with their body position and shot preparation.
