1:33 Yes Jemaa El Fnaa is a very happening place in the evenings. But from personal experience be careful of possible tourist trap, to put it mildly, if you eat at any of the food stalls there : you may end up paying much higher than expected. This is how the tourist trap, or scam actually, works. A stall advertises a set meal for say 50 dirhams (about RM22). After ordering, the meal is served in a number of plates (about 6 in our case) which you happily think are all parts of the set meal. Meal over, time to pay : you discover the meal actually costs two or three times more than the advertised price. Reason : most of the plates are side dishes not parts of the set meal - you eat, you pay. Lesson learnt : Confirm beforehand, before partaking anything, which plate or plates form the actual set meal.
