I had an acquaintance who was a pit boss at a casino in Vegas. He said the best procedure is to take a few moments and study the past numbers list next to the table and to bet the wheel not the table (pick a section of the wheel and bet those numbers). BTW, there WAS a professional roulette player. A Spanish guy and his family. The guy would watch a wheel's outcome for like 3000 spins and make note of the numbers. He would then bet the numbers that came up most frequently. He made over $1 million in a few months in Vegas. It seems the wheel's bearings get worn, people lean on the tables and make the tables less than perfectly level, etc. and this is what caused certain numbers to pop up with more frequency.

There is actually a way to bet the table to have the odds and probability in your favor with roulette... Yes every time that ball is spun the odds rest to 0. But if you bet 2 columns and 2 dozen alone you just increased your odds of winning to 66%and have a 33% chance of loosing. It is all about laws of probability and and percentages. If you can cover more then 60 to 80% of the table with just a few bets you will always when about 40 to 60% of your entire bet unless of course the 33 to 10 % your don't have covered hits then it is a 100% loss

It is a mathematical system the beats them in the bet. You certainly make things to your advantage odds wide but this is a better system that has nothing to do with martingale 1+2+3+4+5+6+7=28 8+7+6+5+4=30 On the top I lost 7 times in a row but on the second line I only won 5 times. But I still beat the casino by 2. I lost more than I won and still beat them. That's the basics but I have not lost in 24 years. I am not smart but I learned it by a savant just like "rain man". He died at 109yo and left his wife 6.258 billion dollars.
