@@rustico0 same, had a point extract haz 4 that started with a Crassus which was nice but trying to get the gold during that was brutal since the waves were non stop bringing 2 more detonators. We only got half of the gold before we just had to extract

A good tip is to make your dwarf look as cool as possible and press V a lot and you wil win

A good tip I can give: make sure you know what you are making your guns do! Think about what *you* want your weapons to do and what you want their job to be

As you mentioned, having high single target damage and crowd control options in your loadout is basically a must (unless you're just f'ing around :), but I like to add the consideration of range to this, as well. Do you have anything in your arsenal that can kill web/acid spitters/menaces on the ceiling, save a teammate from a leech/grabber, or help thin out a distant swarm, so you're not just sitting there waiting for them to close in on you at full force? Ideally, _something_ in your loadout will be able to at least decently contribute vs swarms, high priority targets, and distant enemies. Often times, a primary or secondary can adequately cover 2 of them. Certain weapon+mod+OC combos can arguably cover all 3 by themselves, freeing you up to do whatever you want with the rest of the loadout

i was going to leave a comment about how you were underselling the poison resist, but then i checked the wiki and found that almost nothing in this game does poison damage, acidspitters, macteras, goo bombers, spitballers, menaces', and the q`ronar shellbacks' projectile all deal either kinetic or explosive damage for some reason. it literally only affects the praetorian

Did my first Haz 5 solo today and seeking out 80 nitra asap is pretty damn crucial as you need even more ammo to kill each enemy. After you get a resupply secured, just make sure you maintain distance and mow them down.

Hey Ron!! Yeah these tips are pretty much the big stuff players should know if they wanna bump up the difficulty of the game. I would also say to make sure teammates communicate with each other, the laser pointer and using the R in chat to signify readiness is super helpful. Rock and Stone! ⛏️

more damage pickaxe power attack is very good because it will one hit slashers from full HP on any difficulty, so if you get tagged by one you can spin around and instantly kill it so you're not slowed for very long leading to your death.

I'm a proponent for taking Dash on Scout. Scout certainly manages fine without it, but I've pulled off so many more clutch plays with Dash than without it; not to mention the additional quality of life of being able to traverse huge distances in mere eyeblinks when used with the Grapple. Field Medic only helps when teammates are down (and only has 1 charge), Beast Mater only works if you remember to use it (and has a 5 minute cooldown). Dash? Dash just works whenever you need it, for multiple purposes, and only a 25 second cooldown. I've also been experimenting with taking Sweet Tooth over Resupplier. I'm not convinced its better as it is RNG dependent where the red sugar spawns, whereas Resupplier simply works without fuss. In my testing, though, it has been quite useful: the tradeoff of taking longer to resupply (and reload manually) is hardly noticeable outside of trying to top off in the middle of a swarm fight.

with the extra loadout slot added this season, I decided to set up a super mobile scout and it's really fun. Momentum on grapple, special powder, dash, and hover boots. It's totally overkill but it's so fun on lower haz levels.

i have like my all time setup for perks for all of the dwarf that im doing great with since 440h now! its passive: - ressuplier -veteran depositor -either deep pockets or something else i want to try... this one im still not sure about :D mostly dp though active: ALWAYS Heightened senses! saved my poor beard so many times! and currently im into taming so Beast Master. Excuse bad spelling. im not native english nor good at writing it :)

So once I maxed out the perks and maxed out guns with a in my opinion good overclocks haz4 started feel easy. Don't know how mutch gear actually do. My biggest issue is that I try to revive people at the cost of my own safety so. I kinda gatekeep myself from haz5 where I would like to have a team from the beginning one discord or similar for builds have a quite kill big things build with m1000 hover clock and zukovs with inbeded detonators it's fun but should probably use the gk2 for versatility. You can literally stay in the air forever. Have a blessed day!

I use your build just because the first teir is just dodo. Why... - 1 sec on recharge delay isn't that good. - 3 then we're talking but - 1 isn't enough. Faster recharge on sheild but the +2 delay on recharge is just too much for ao little. Remember higher hazard levels one shots your sheild anyway. So the +5 mineral bag capacity is overall better. I always find myself having just enough space for a mineral vein with 45 capacity. Usually I see 43 42 after mining it out. That speed things up as well. Less needing to go back and forth with Molly is great. Especially for Nitra. That 45 cap can come in clutch for a squad.

-1 delay is nice tho, it does negate some damage at times +5 mineral capacity on the other hand is kinda useless. Do u really prefer 5 (FIVE) more space for minerals to a touch of survivability? Maybe on scout, but definitely not on the other ones

5 minerals is actually really valuable because of breakpoints. if you found a vein that is 39 nitra, deposited it, then found a vein that is 41 nitra, it would take you Three trips to molly or the refinery to get one resupply. With 5 extra bag space, you’ll only need 2 trips. There are missions where this matters a lot

heres a tip that helped me alot. do not use the grenade launcher overclock that lets you fly around when you shoot it under you. i know its hard to resist, but dont use it

Tipp: Do not use fat boy OC. Why? Other builds are far better at AoE or Single target damage. If you want to use the PGL against big single targets, use hyper propellant For AoE use clean sweep OC and pair it with fire. As seen on 9:02
