Amen. I’m 42, never married, no kids, purchased my own house, traveled the world and is well in my career. I’ve come to the point of acceptance of not finding my person. Yes, it gets lonely, but I refuse to settle and lower my standards in my waiting season. All I can do is try to keep the peace with Gods timing. Proud of you Alisha ❤

Yes, That’s all you can do! Life is not about finding a partner. You can still live an amazing fulfilled life regardless of relationship status!

Girl not not only the divorce video. But also the "its ok not to be ok" one and the one that was about a year update after divorce video. I have met a very amazing friend from the comment section of the divorce video, and let me say that video changed my life! You really are my partner in this journey, Alisha. I went thru it at the same time and with a child same age. My daughter will be 7 in September. Thank you ❤

Alisha, I'm sure you've heard this before but I've been so impressed with how you 've handled yourself over years when it comes to social media, I'm sure there are things that happen in your life no one sees, but when I see other influencers that have dealt with similiar situations I always consider you the standard.

That is one of the kindest things anyone has ever said to me. Especially when I think about how much I have had to keep to myself (when I really wanted to air some sh*t out lol) in order to maintain my integrity. It’s been a journey but I truly am proud of how I’ve handled it all. Thank you so much ❤️

I saw how God continue to bless you and Val- first house, 2nd home, new job. But besides that he held you up and gave you the strength to move forward. I am so proud that you relied on Him and kept the faith things would get better! Congrats, you made it thru 🙌🏽

Love this topic! I would even apply what you said about romantic partners to friendships. Yes, they are important, but you don’t need friends to live your life. It’s okay to do things alone. It’s okay to give your self space to process your emotions, or to lean on God when no one is in reach. I’m saying this as someone who doesn’t have a village. Without my belief in God and myself, I wouldn’t be here. It’s God above everyone for me🙏🏾
